Chapman/Horsham -- 2022MY orders

Only way I can see is if they have THAT many June orders outstanding and have them 10-12. Still shouldn't be any reason there are ANY June, July, August or September orders still unscheduled, but that's Ford.

I was a be priority 2 for at least 2 months and they sent me the screenshots showing me at priority 2. So I should have the correct ROPV. Also though, as early as late March I have an email from Chapman telling me I might get rolled over to a 23 model. I need to go back through my emails to get all the correct dates. I did check with Ashley and she sent me the ROVP screenshot also. But after all that I still don’t have a warm and fuzzy feeling about all this.

Ashlie told me they had updated everyone's priority numbers to try to make sure the earliest orders got scheduled. As you mention you were at Priority 2 at one time, but I'm starting to suspect that after they updated their internal priorities none of the orders that were formerly at 2 got put back to 2.

Got my Velocity Blue XLT with Lux package on 6/25/2022 from Chapman .I had ordered it on 8/19/2021.Also got it for $1000 cheaper than I thought I would pay. Very happy with everything. Sales team was great. Very happy with my purchase and the gas milage!!!

As you mention you were at Priority 2 at one time, but I'm starting to suspect that after they updated their internal priorities none of the orders that were formerly at 2 got put back to 2.

I think this is the most probable explanation. But that means they dropped the ball, as they should have got with the regional rep and had them put back at PC2.

It would also help if they were forthcoming with information. But no dealership does that as well as Long McArthur. With my order at Chapman Philly, Ed and I barely spoke past the order date. I think we talked 3 times between October 2021 and when it was finally scheduled.

Hey All, just wondering who still has orders pending with Tom/SteveB at Chapman Horsham. There are about 180 or so of us. With a list, we might be able to see our position in a first in, first out queue. So, add you vehicle and order details (and update with changes please).

( This thread (my post) is not meant to throw shade on Chapman. They have been upfront with me, personally. The extended delivery I am now seeing is inline with expectations at time of order. I appreciate the pricing strategy they offered with the upfront knowledge of delivery unpredictability. )

@theway-yay-ting is maintaining scheduling rates in here . Quite curiously, at the time of this edit, we have gone 11 weeks having only two orders schedule.
This is no where near all of the orders (of course) but those who reported recently.
Smiley faces represent scheduled (or built) orders. The lack of a smiley; well that is obvious.
2 mavericks have reportedly been scheduled this week; but without knowing who, no smiley faces have been added.

Nope.. Just bought two from Ed. Think about it. You place order with Ed, Ed Submits order to Ford, Now its Ford's job to schedule, assemble, and deliver.

What would you like your dealer talk to you about in between? It's obviously a Ford problem not a dealer problem.

What updates do you think they get that your not getting from Ford already? Just not Chapman but all dealers.

You do understand that this thread is about Horsham, right? This thread is not about Ed or his dealer, Chapman Philly. I also have a truck from Ed, it is scheduled, and yes he's been great.

Maybe you should use your brain and read this thread in its entirety.

That could very well be it. They should've left June and July alone and just re-prioritize Aug-Jan. I also wonder if something happened with their allocations. I wish we knew what their allocations were for some of their other vehicles to see if they were all affected or just the Maverick. They seem to be a high-volume dealer and while Granger and Long McArthur have been getting less the last few months, they have at least gotten some.

I feel like this is a valid question for this thread. With the forthcoming news that you will be able to change dealers and keep your private offer should your order not get scheduled for production - how many of you Horsham folks are going to do that?

I certainly believe our orders are in the penalty box for some reason or another. I hope, that come the new MY, the penalty time expires and allocations return to the 30/month or so we used to see. With this belief, I will let my order ride with Horsham. -- unless we hear that we will not carry any priority being transitioned from MY22.

I will likely place another (new) order with a local dealer.

This is my plan as well. I will likely remove Lux from the locally ordered one, depending on what the new package configurations and options are.

I received the Maverick I ordeted from my local dealer end of May at MSRP. The same day order from Chapman is still in limbo. I plan to upgrade to a Lariat from xlt in August and potentially other changes once the 2023 MAV configuration options are available. This assuming Chapman still offer the 4% under invoice deal
Ford clearly block them somehow hopefully not for much longer…
