I think they need a bigger battery in it 470CCA seems to small a 550 or 600CCA would be better but this a bigger battery which could have been mounted in another direction or location

I wonder why they decided to put it under the rear seat..The hybrid F-150 has it in the normal engine compartment location...

FYI when your Max A/C is turned on, the fan speed won't illuminate or adjust. If you're wanting Max A/C, then you obviously don't want the fan speed at 2 not an actual issue there. To adjust the fan speed, turn off the Max A/C and just use the normal A/C.

Try again, the blower speed is adjustable when A/C is in the Max setting. The blower speed lights do illuminate and FYI if vehicle is turned off and restarted it will be at the same speed as when turned off. The "Max" setting does nothing other than use inside air recirculated in place of bringing in outside air. The Idea is, If it's say 100 degrees out, as the inside cools down the A/C is more efficient at cooling air as is gets colder inside rather than the outside 100 degree air trying to be cooled down.

Xlt received in January. 13,000 miles. No problems until yesterday... Deep sleep msg on Ford App, and Mav was dead (no power/dash lights). Jumped from my other vehicle and drove for about 30 minutes and seems okay. Only thing different is that in the last few days I have for the first time used the remote start feature 2 times so that the AC would cool off the truck (central Texas cooks). Is this related?? Well I am spooked enough that I will not use remote start again until I purchase and keep a jump box with me. I think I'll get one of those battery voltage monitors that plugs into the dash power port cigarette lighter thingy.

So far no problems with the 12V battery. Only 700 miles on my truck & I avoid using the Ford Pass app to start/stop/lock/unlock . I do however use the app to check the oil & tire psi….but I may stop doing that too.

I keep a NOCO GB40 battery jump pack in the truck at all times just in case.

I have been monitoring the forum reading of all the issues related to this cable/wiring harness and hoping for the best.

Well this thread could scare people or help set them at ease.

Just my opinion is that at least half the people that picked up their delivered hybrid don’t visit this site much anymore because they’re trouble free. So I think people who are experiencing issues are more than likely to come here looking for answers.

I take comfort that the poll numbers are skewed more to yes side of this. Imho..

Remove the truck from the ford pass app, that’s what I was told to do, no issues since it died and was at the dealer for almost two weeks.
