I am NOT one of the two hybrids scheduled this week.I emailed the Chapman crew today and was told that all they had schedule this week were two hybrids, and no EBs. Hopefully one (or TWO!) of the hybrid folks in our list got their VIN, but this does not bode well for the rest of us...
With an order date more than a year ago, you're still not scheduled? That's crazy.I am NOT one of the two hybrids scheduled this week.
Sad but not surprising given they’ve only had two hybrids schedule since April 15. CP-360 or any other options still on your order?Ordered late August.
Originally ordered a Hybrid XLT lux but took off the lux package a couple of months ago and still no VIN/scheduling.
I tend to drive my vehicles until the wheels fall off (my 2011 Honda CR-V has 213k miles on it and the Mav was supposed to be its replacement).Nope. Just the hitch and the inverter. No idea what the deal is but something definitely seems up. Honestly was waffling on the lux package when ordering anyways (never use the heated stuff) so that wasn't a big issue, I just wasn't sure if taking it off would actually do anything.
In their own thread on this website they do indicate they will honor this deal for MY23 orders.I know no one really knows the answer to this but just trying to get opinions. As most of us will have to reorder a MY23, will Chapman still honer the 3% under MSRP, as this was a reason most of us ordered from them in the first place.
Yeah I wish they’d tell us what went wrong for them. You’re a 16, right?I emailed Ashlie today to check where I am in the queue. I was trying to find out how many similar builds there are to mine ahead of me (Lariat Lux hybrid) but its like pulling teeth getting info over there. Still dont know how @theway-yay-ting manages to get info out of them. Best I got were there are 58 orders with a lower priority code than me. I figure a good portion of those are XLT Luxs so maybe there are 10-15 ahead of me that are similar?
I emailed her today just asking if they needed anything from me regarding the MY22/MY23 rollover, and she replied back that Ford hasn't announced anything but they'll touch base when they get more info.I emailed Ashlie today to check where I am in the queue. Yeah, I don't know how he does it. I just glad he does.I emailed Ashlie today to check where I am in the queue. I am still a priority 16. I also looked back on my order sheet and it actually has 10/30 on it. That is when she submitted it, but I didn't submit the signed Dora back until 11/2. Never asked Ford what date they have in their system so its one of those dates.I emailed her today just asking if they needed anything from me regarding the MY22/MY23 rollover, and she replied back that Ford hasn't announced anything but they'll touch base when they get more info.
What you got is still useful info - if Chapman did their re-prioritization strictly by date, and there are 58 ahead of your 11/2 Lariat Lux Hybrid, then the list on the first page accounts for 23 of those 58, or about 40% of all the outstanding unscheduled orders ahead of yours (assuming the number she gave you was for all orders, not just hybrids).
So if Ford starts chipping away at the list by order date, for every 5 of all Chapman orders that get scheduled, 2 should be from our list. Unfortunately, the big wild card is parts availability, so it's also highly likely that some of the later EBs (and non-Lux Hybrids) on the list will get scheduled first.
Further, it's still possible (maybe even likely?) that regardless of the internal priority that Chapman has put on the vehicles, the region and/or corporate will select the Lariat Lux ahead of earlier XLT Lux orders due to higher revenue on the sale. If there's a limit on the number of Lux components, makes better business sense to allocate the components to the higher dollar builds. Just looking at the chart on page one, and all those late smiley faces in the Lariat Lux column relative to all the unscheduled earlier XLT Lux packages, I'd say @MLowe05 , @ssumass , you, and @macaroni_life still might sneak in under the wire for MY22...
Here's the other thing... again, *if* they did their prioritization purely by order date, if there are 58 ahead of you, that means there are 120 AFTER you out of their current remaining 179 unscheduled. That would suggest they got a boatload of orders after 11/2, and since the hybrid cutoff was around 11/15, I'd expect that most of those 120 were EBs.I emailed Ashlie today to check where I am in the queue.
