Im also curious about the build dates on the handful of people affected.

You may need to do the legwork and find each thread with affected users and @ them or message them directly. Forum users probably trickle in and out at different periods of time so they probably won’t see your post.

Thx, for your input, I was wanting to see if it affected my Mav, but regardless I will tear into mine that way I know its taken care of.

I will wait a couple days for replies and try and put things together for other members.

Are there any limitations of things to know disconnecting the 12v battery? I saw something in the manual about 3 mins. What settings do I lose, and any precautions possibly effecting airbags?

Thx for your input, yours is an early build, have you had any problems with yours yet?

This is why I am trying to decifer some collected data, to make that determination. Just reading on here, it seems to be fairly wide spread. Its got my attention. It may just be a handful, but could be the whole run. No telling how long the vendor has been building the cable in this defective manner. We are just seeing it recently, who to says there aren't other cables/wire harnesses defective. There are quite a few cable ends installed in this electrical apparatus.

Build date Dec 28, 2021. No shudder, no burning cat, no brake issues, no going to sleep without waking up, no dying in the middle of a drive. So. No issues whatsoever. Hell I don't even have any rattles with 7,200 miles on her.

I would like to know if all the hybrids are having problems or does the problem cutoff at a certain date code? Sounds like a majority of the problem childs are early builds.

If you had the problem can you post build date and what repair was..i.e. battery replacement, wiring harness, then early ones had flash to shut off energized components.

Anyone interested besides me? I would like to know if my 3.1.2022 build is effected as well.

We could collect some quality data here.
Going on my memory I think that the flash was for march 9th or before production. Will have to look for that thread.to be sure

A more accurate data point (or In addition to the "build date") might be: what was the vehicle assembly number as it went through the assembly line? - provided by the last six digits on the VIN. This would provide the ability to analyze vehicle production in batches independent of, or in concert with, build dates.

I mean clearly not every hybrid is having these problems. There are only a handful of posts on here about this issue. Tens of thousands of hybrids have probably been built by now.

December 30 delivery, built in November-ish. Not even a hint of a problem here.

I think the vast majority of builds are like yours and mine. The echo chamber of the forum amplifies those who do actually have legitimate problems.

Good posts, mav, good thought with VIN.

I have an air bag B1413 front left sensor error code, besides that everything is just fine. I just need to know if mine has bad solder connection, for reliability. I don't really like dealerships to repair, I still have no less then 3 problems with my f150 that dealership wouldnt/couldn't fix. So I bought a Mav so I can shuttle them in and change them out at dealership. Drop one off while I drive the other.
