Couple 2, 3 Mavericks at the most! How much did you pay for your Maverick?
THEN....
How much did your buddy pay for his Rivian?
It’s quite a bit taller and wider, all in all the Rivian is bigger. I’m waiting for the CT.how much larger is it? the perspective makes it look only slightly bigger which doesn't seem right.
neat truck though, i know some people don't like the front styling but i really dig it. too bad i can't afford it.
I paid $32,200 out the door.Couple 2, 3 Mavericks at the most!
Over by my neck of the woods, I'm on the other side of Maitland by Bear Lake.I saw one in person on the road 2 weeks ago. I did not like the look in print but in person was much nicer. The person must live in my area (NE Orlando burbs) as it was 7:30am when I saw it and friends have since seen it too. I have been seriously researching getting an EV & was shocked at the prevalence of fast chargers around me at gas stations! This solves one concern which is power loss at home due to hurricanes (inn2004 went 24 days no power) but gas stations by law must have back up power w 2 sources of fuel. You absolutely do not want to charge an appliance let alone a $70k+ vehicle on even a huge portable generator, the power cycle will f' up the engine. Back up gens & even huge portables (let alone shitty ones under $1000) operate on a slightly different wave cycle.

Yeah, I live in San Diego, I do have a cheap generator. So I don’t think I’m buying a Rivian.I saw one in person on the road 2 weeks ago. Overland land buddies liking the Red/Arc -3000 W / Sine-Wave inverter. I'm thinking I just want an Odin 3000 w generator - Lots to learn.I saw one in person on the road 2 weeks ago. Wow I didn't even know these kind of gens existed! Well I'm sure when I did my research to buy the 1st one I got in 2004 they didn't. Otherwise being far cheaper than a whole house system, I would have gone this route if they can handle a FL sized A/C units kickstart. How much noise do these make?? I have PTSD from gen noise for a month in 2004 and since then having a gen is as essential as a clothes washer, grid around me goes down atleast 1x a month w no storms.Overland land buddies liking the Red/Arc -3000 W / Sine-Wave inverter.
