Original OP here, my last Ford email delayed my delivery 10 days until 5/31. Now that date has passed without any update from Ford. More proof that the Ford emails mean nothing. The only email Ford should send should say, "Someday you will get your truck".

My hybrid Lariat Mav was ordered in early August last year, built on 15/16 March, arrived in Portland Oregon on April 3rd, and there it sits. And sits. And sits. Ford first sent an email saying it would be delivered as late as April 6th, then April 15th, then April 27th, then May 6th, then May 14th, then May 20, then May 26th, and now they are telling me June 6th. As AltoBlueLariat said, "The only email Ford should send should say, "Someday you will get your truck".

My Lariat Lux hybrid was ORDERED 9 August 21, BUILT 14/15 March 22, SHIPPED to Portland, OR arriving there on April 3rd... and there it has sat for SEVEN weeks. Ford has officially told me DELIVERY would be 12 April, then 23 April, then 14 May, then 24 May, and now 30 May. I've made several calls to Ford and their "Maverick team" but they all seem to be in the dark on this. I have not lost confidence in the Maverick, but I'm certainly losing my confidence in Ford.
At least yours is built, ordered 6/10/21 now scheduled build 6/13/22 changed date 5 times

This whole experience seems to be a “two steps forward…one step back” process. I have a xlt hybrid lux ordered on 7/21 with no build date yet. Been a little frustrated with the delay but appears once there is a production date, the series of production and shipping delays will then begin. At this point, I’ll try to not think about it until the dealer calls and says it’s here.

I just want to scream, contacted Ford support to see where things are at since my vehcle was supposed to have been delivered today. They said another 10 day delay, and then who knows what delays will come after that. Thinking about shopping for something else and bailing on the Maverick.

I'm sure they will have no problem selling it.

Yep, I could probably even convince them to give me my deposit back. Actually, If I do decide to bail on it, I would buy it and sell it myself since I have a garage full of accessories that I have already purchased.

Others have sold accessories here on the forum.

Purely supposition but sure sounds like the hold up is a product of current limited availability of car carrier trucks and/or drivers, a situation affecting vehicle deliveries across the board, not only Mavericks.

Frustrating, to be sure, but that's the lay of the land in many locales.

Yea, I get the shipping issues. I think this is a rail issue as it has been stuck in Blue Island, IL for some time and still has to go to the rail yard in Cottage Grove , MN and then by carrier to my dealer.

Ordered 7/26/21, Lariat Hybrid, RR, Lux Pkg, CoPilot 360, First Edition & after many setbacks, now is in production as of May 31st. Wondering how long I can expect it to be in production before I see the next step forward, that it is built & ready for shipment. Anyone tell me what there experience is once received notice "IN Production"? Oh, & I do have my window sticker as of May 31st.!

Mine was only about a week from being in production until the built email came.

Under the new regimen, window sticker (supposedly) only becomes available about one week before actual build date.

Once they ship it, it's no longer in their hands. Entirely up to the shipping companies, drivers, customs, etc.
