So after the typical multiple build date delays on April 28 I received the email that my Maverick had shipped and was expected to arrive May 15 -21. This week I had been anticipating the next Ford email telling me it has been delivered.
Yesterday (May 18th) I received an email from Ford. Unfortunately, instead of a delivery notification it was notification of a another delay of 10 more days. I just found it interesting that they said the delay was to ensure my complete satisfaction. I don't know how a delay in shipping is going to increase my satisifation because frankly I don't feel more satisfied. Since it had already shipped I wonder if they found a problem with the Mavericks while it was in route and they somehow stopped the shipment until the issue could be resolved?
Anyhow, I guess the only email or call that matters is when your dealer says, "It's here".
