Hello, My 2023 rollover XL Hybrid is in transit and I hope to have it home in less than a month. At what point am I able to verify the $2,500 private offer? Thanks.

Just bought mine. I asked my sales guy twice before hand if he needed anything from me regarding the private offer. I never got a response. Nonetheless, he was able to pull up the private offer fairly easily when I went to the dealership. No kidding, the first words out of his mouth when I mentioned the private offer face to face? He says "What private offer?".

Good luck!

You can call Ford marketing and they should give you a certificate number for it.

My dealer keeps giving me the run around on missing private offer. Sales guy says he has contacted the right dept but they didn’t know who in the dept can correct. Ford marketing can’t see my private offer either but is it possible my dealer could screw me over and decide to keep it in the end? I’m thinking of not buying if no private offer.

I believe there is a thread on this forum where someone got the private offer even after the sale. Be persistent. They want you to walk away from it.

RE: Can dealer screw you over? = YES! The private offer money goes from FoMoCo to the dealer. The dealer can choose to give you all, part or none. FoMoCo customer service should be able to view it, and the dealer can view it as well on SmartVincent.

My dealer tried to tell me FoMoCo gave them $600 less than the actual offer on my model and they would loose money if they gave me the full amount, a lie. I took my truck but made such a fuss they cut a check for the $600 two days later.

I asked my sales person about it when I got a schedule date for my truck and he told me to wait until the window sticker was created. I reached out once that was available and he said “good news- you are eligible for a 2500 discount” I don’t know how upfront they would be if I didn’t ask multiple times- he didn’t tell me about this when he notified me the truck was rolling over to 2024. I’m actually scheduled to pick it up this afternoon- wish me luck 🤞

There is the difference between price adjustment and "Private offer" which is a Model Year adjustment. I was told the latter (the $2500 kind) is a REBATE, which the dealership cannot legally touch (at least in SC).

Thanks for the number. I just called and confirmed the $2,500 private offer is in place. With the $415 price adjustment credit and the $500 NJ Farm Bureau discount, its a great savings of almost $3,500.

My dealer "couldn't find" the private offers, so I called Ford marketing and they found my two (stacking?) private offers. That made for my all-time best purchase on all of the various Fords that I have owned; $5,250 off the MSRP.

That's awesome. You deserve it since you have been waiting since 2022.

I'd try to get information ahead of time with Ford chat. Give them your order number, sales code and VIN. An honest dealer can pull up the number/letter code through the SmartVINCENT.
