I would expect a 10-12 hit. I don't understand buying the hybrid and then putting tires on it that ruin efficiency, but to each their own.
Definitely not that big of a hit.
and why? Because it looks better and because I can. I paid for it I can do what I want with it. That simple.

Any idea how many miles per tank of fuel you are getting?
Idk about him but I’m getting. 525-575 miles per tank. Depends on how I drive.

I plan on installing Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails OEM size on my Hybrid. These same tires in OEM size gave us a reduction of 3MPG on my wife's Cherokee. If I anticipate a 5 MPG hit on the Mav, given the fact I only drive around 2500 miles a year and given the fact I will no longer need the semi annual trip to the tire store for the winter/summer tire swap at over at 40 bucks a pop now , the cost will be a wash at 6 bucks a gallon for gas.

The benefits will be a much more rugged tire to withstand our pot hole scarred roads. You know Murphy's Law on pot holes, right? Swerve to miss one and you will hit 3 others. It never fails. One of life's sacred rules. :D
Are the trails an LT tire ? Trying to understand the difference between the trails and AT/3W - trails are heavier I know that at least.

Yes, I would say they are an LT tire. Not a very aggressive tire either. Very quiet on the road noise, Tire Rack has them rated 8.9 / 10 in snow performance and similar ratings for dry, wet, tread life performance. 31 pounds, so heavier than the stock tire by about 5 pounds or so.

No. You showed a 245, the tire I am getting is a 225 which is OEM size. I have no such need for such a larger tire on a 2 wheel drive vehicle. Cheers.

Yes, it is my understanding the 245 is 47 pounds. That is what the other member stated and it sounds like a great fit for (s)he. I think for me, the 31 pound 225 is a great fit for me. Cheers.

I'm debating between 235/245 - 65 - Might go with the 235 to save a bit on mileage and keep the tire a little more tucked in to minimize fender rock chips -

Hey to each their own. The look is not so important to me as is the protection these tires give on our horrible roads and the fact these tires are 3PMSF so I do not have to spend every spring and fall having those tire cowboys banging up my expensive wheels and peeling off the wheel weights with a putty knife. :(:cautious::cry:

I drove 1/2 a tank in eco mode and was able to get 47mpg over those 2 weeks.
235/60/18 Nokian Outpost ATP. They’re all weather and low rolling resistance rated.
I’ve since gone back to driving in sport mode and am still averaging 35-40mpg.
