you don’t have to unplug to get the the normal settings. AA and CarPlay work separately from the stock radio just hit the power button to turn the stock radio on in the back ground then the settings button.
Stupidity is stupidity no matter what. I agree most won’t know what to do when they see oil in the engine bay. But common sense to stop driving when the check engine light is flashing and truck is smoking like it’s about to catch fire.
You’re completely missing the point. It could have been caused by anything from minor manufacturing defect to bad maintenance. Point is he should have never driven the truck after it was smoking and notice oil sprayed under the hood. Ultimately the fire is pretty much his fault for continued use...
Don’t even feel bad for you. This 100% driver fault. Smoke warning #1 oil on hood warning #2 you added oil after a low oil light is warning# then still driving it again while smoking you were asking for it. If you would have just towed after first two signs you would have been fine
This is correct. Only happens occasionally at start up on the first drive cycle. Doesn’t last long and it diminishes quickly. Soon as the engine turns on the first time it’s gone.
