Curious, did Ashlie proactively reach out to you, or respond to your inquiry?

I really haven’t heard anything since my ordering week in mid-January...

.
She was responding to my question. I followed up & asked her if they could move me back to 10 since that was what it had been originally, and she explained that they had updated the priorities so that the earlier orders would have a better chance of getting scheduled.

I'm fine with that.

As a side note, on 4/15 there were 181 unscheduled Horsham orders. Today is 5 weeks later, and there are still 181 unscheduled Horsham orders. Additionally, no Maverick scheduling next week, so it’ll be 6 full weeks with no orders scheduled.

Not really sure what happened to change the previous rhythm (especially since several other large volume dealers had orders get scheduled in the same timeframe), but hopefully the floodgates open that week of 5/30 & all those 22 Horsham May allocations actually get scheduled for production sometime in July.

Also hopefully, we don’t see another month like April where some of the allocations don’t even get scheduled.

I probably won’t even check in with them until June 3rd or so. Of course maybe the week there is no Mav scheduling (5/23) is when we actually see a few… haha. Keep the faith, early orders!

Glad you did the math. I was thinking of asking you this exact point yesterday, but got side-tracked. Six weeks with no Mavs scheduled when @fordvideoguy got so many of his Jun/Jul orders scheduled. Something wrong with this math (especially for those of us who ordered from Chapman-Horsham) @Dealerinsider Can you help us?

Aren't a lot of the Chapman orders at this point full of constraints?

Yes, but all the ones @fordvideoguy recently got scheduled were hybrid Lux 360 as well.

He’s in a different region, which is certainly a factor, but 6 weeks to get absolutely none scheduled is unprecedented, especially when that 6-week period included the scheduling for the targeted 10k production month (June).

I don’t blame Chapman, but I surely don’t understand how they didn’t get at least a few in that timeframe, especially when there are multiple Jun/Jul/Aug orders queued up, and many other dealers got those same trim packages scheduled during the same timeframe.

It’s like Ford’s mad at them or something (being facetious here, but running out of other ideas).

My thoughts exactly. Wonder if they may have gotten sideways with Ford over too many canceled orders? Who knows.

Do you recall Tim's remaining order count? I thought he still had over 200 unscheduled?

I’d have to go back and look, but he had more orders than Chapman in the first place. The big difference is almost all of his Jun/Jul orders are now scheduled. As we can see from just the MTC sampling in @chuckles Horsham post, we still have a large number unscheduled in that date range, and we only represent about 20% of their unscheduled hybrid orders, so it’s likely they still have dozens from Jun/Jul.

Long McArthur has @fordvideoguy as a secret weapon. I've bought a lot of cars and never encountered a dealer with a person on staff like Tim. He is active on this forum, he answers questions for members regardless of whether they are his customers or not. But for LM customers he advocates on their behalf and works hard to push the regional people to move things along.

As much as Chapman has been great so far, they don't seem to have their own Tim, unfortunately. Who knows how it would have worked out for LM if Tim hadn't been so on top of things?

Is there a map of sorts for the different regions? I ask because I'm still at priority 15 and Tim said that the regions should place all orders through October to PC2.

Somebody recently asked Tim this same question & even he didn’t know. Said he tried to find something last year & couldn’t.
