Apologies for being so cryptic. I was agreeing with your assessment that most of the thievery is after the more common cars ... not only for the vehicle but for parts.

Working on better bed side rail tiedowns than the ford DIY ones and better than the lariat and lux ones. Once I get them test fit on a buddies mav, since mine hasn't showed up yet, and I'm satisfied with them, I may offer them for sale. Extruded aluminum 2,000 lb pull strength. No pix yet. Waiting on a few things before I start machining.

My new wheel rims need ford logos in the middle. Center caps measure 65mm. I got a nice set of ford logo center caps. First pic is Circuit performance center caps on the rims. Used a heat gun to peel off the Circuit performance logo pieces off the center caps, then used Xylene to remove the excess double stick tape. The new logos are stamped on aluminum with a slight dome shape and epoxy coated. Should last a long time. I will glue them in place on the center caps with a glob of clear silicone adhesive. I think the rims look better with the blue ford logo on them.
