The first month of production is all dealer stock orders and review/testing trucks. Most, if not all early dealer stock is Ecoboost so there isn't a huge demand from the factory for hybrid transmissions until mid September. They don't need the transmissions yet. And in the weeks since the 139 transmissions were requested, more could have been requested but we haven't heard more from the person who had that knowledge.

We saw a lot of hybrids get picked up last week in scheduling. I think we will see a lot more this week and I expect the tide to turn on the Ecoboost/hybrid scheduled order ratio pretty soon, if not this week. Ford didn't underestimate demand for the hybrid, they just ramped up production and deliveries at a later point.
Gotcha. Those of us who selected Hybrids can only hope the demand rises and they start Scheduling more.

I'm not sure if this question has been answered yet. Digging through the forums I have not been able to see. I reserved my Hybrid ford maverick xlt with luxury package on August 9th. My dealer said they think October is when it will come in. Is this accurate? What are your guys thoughts?

IMHO seems very optimistic. I ordered my XLT July 7th and I haven't even got a build date yet.

When do you think a maverick that was reserved august 9th is likely to get scheduled? I may just go for a tacoma but I can't make up my mind. I don't know if I'm willing to wait until next year to get the truck.

Right now I think it's anyone's guess. Your dealer may be entirely right. Seems everyone's got an opinion. You see people that have ordered in June who haven't got a build date and you see people who've ordered in August who have gotten a build date? Some of it seems to depend on whether you have ordered with the eco-boost or the hybrid (been more builds with eco-boost than hybrids). It also seems that if your order includes constrained items that it delays your build. Personally I am waiting for the exact truck I wanted and I don't have an option for anything like it. I want the gas mileage and the price and that cannot be found anywhere else at this point.

This Maverick is the reason I can/want to afford a New Truck... I'm just not willing to spend $40-$50,000 for a new mid-size truck with a bunch of stickers on it... to make you feel special with $500+ car payment...

Ordered 6 July, no build date. It will be interesting to see who's XLT gets built first. (XLT with Lux pkg.)

Ok I just called my dealer to remove the spray in liner…I just couldn’t take the thought that my truck would not be pulled for weeks or months because I didn’t get it in the Lux package…Hybrid Lariat Hot Pepper
I did the same thing. I will just get mine done after market. Hybrid XLT, Cactus Grey, Copilot360, and rear window slider.

I would agree with this. I think it's in ford's best interest to get these out before these other vehicles start hitting the market and can compete with this price and feature list. They wait too long though I'll probably flip to another make of vehicle to be honest. Probably a Toyota.

I find it ironic that it is a standard hybrid power train, but they've publicly stated that they want to achieve a 60/40 split on their EB and hybrid production. One would think you should produce more of the standard power train. 🤔

I have 2 opinions bought them on QVC for 5 easy payments instead of 6 because Ron Propeil promised me he’d stop calling about my cars extended warranty if I did. Now it’s my flavor wave.

seriously though there are so many variables as to who gets what when, it’s like how many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop. The world may never know
