Gotcha. Those of us who selected Hybrids can only hope the demand rises and they start Scheduling more.The first month of production is all dealer stock orders and review/testing trucks. Most, if not all early dealer stock is Ecoboost so there isn't a huge demand from the factory for hybrid transmissions until mid September. They don't need the transmissions yet. And in the weeks since the 139 transmissions were requested, more could have been requested but we haven't heard more from the person who had that knowledge.
We saw a lot of hybrids get picked up last week in scheduling. I think we will see a lot more this week and I expect the tide to turn on the Ecoboost/hybrid scheduled order ratio pretty soon, if not this week. Ford didn't underestimate demand for the hybrid, they just ramped up production and deliveries at a later point.
