The Taco drives like a truck because it’s body on frame and Mav drives like a car because basically that’s what it is.

Keeping my Tacoma when the Mav comes. Mav for DD/grocery getter, highway cruiser. Tacoma for rolling around at the cottage and fishing/hunting and hauling

It's 4.09 for regular up here and we haven't done half of the dumb laws that CA has

Someone probably already covered it, but Tacos are a notoriously bad fit for anyone around 6' or taller.

Not just the newer models, I've tried out used ones in the past going back to the 90s and no luck. (6'3")

I think part of the issue is that the floor pan is so much higher than I'm used to, sure it's great for ground clearance but there's no way I could drive for more than an hour in that thing before I'd need to stop and stretch my legs. I've owned trucks before, but I've never had one that sat so low before. I'd hope that a seat lift is included on the higher spec models, but I honestly don't know.
My friend has a Tacoma, when I sat in it I remarked that the seating position felt like I was sitting in my Camry. Its definitely feels more like sitting in a car than sitting in a truck.
