So you think the next generation Maverick will be smaller, lighter, with a 1.8 engine?
Not at all. Why do you think the size needs to change at all?So you think the next generation Maverick will be smaller, lighter, with a 1.8 engine?
Because it ALWAYS DOES. I remember the car ads from the 60's, 70's, 80's, etc. Every year it was LONGER, LOWER, WIDER, more road hugging weight. The Tacoma, Ranger, Civic, Accord, Silverado, F150, on and on ad finitum ,ad nauseum. Compare a 1960 Ford pickup to a 2023 model. The new ones are bigger than the semi trucks used to be.Not at all. The 2024 Ranger didn't change much in size. Neither did the current F150 from the 2015's. No reason the Maverick will need to change size. Just platform, and drivetrains mostly.Because it ALWAYS DOES. I remember the car ads from the 60's, 70's, 80's, etc. Every year it was LONGER, LOWER, WIDER, more road hugging weight. Do you think the Maverick will continue in it's original measurements? Don't bet more than pocket change.
@Granger Ford just announced $1000 below MSRP on new orders available...Fellas, about three months ago, I really felt like I needed a bigger truck and I made a decision to sell my 2023 Lariat 4k tow AWD Maverick. I was able to sell it for $1000 more than what I paid for it and since I only owed about two thirds, I got all my down payment back and walked away with a "zero" slate. I ended up going with a 2023 Tacoma SR5 V6 4x2 because it was the same price as the Maverick Lariat. Big Mistake. At the same price, the Taco is missing all the features and options I have come to expect in a vehicle. This Toyota is so basic and it is insane what they charge for a truck that basically has mid 80's technology in it. In hindsight, I would keep my Maverick. I really liked it. Keep 'em if you got 'em.
Thanks for the tag. We still have a good amount of allocations available for 2024s. We're working through them, but still time to order!@Granger Ford just announced $1000 below MSRP on new orders available...
