IF, I ever receive my 4K tow package Maverick - and that's a big IF it seems - it will be nice to have significantly less attention than we have now!!

That co-ordinates so well I don't know if I would change it!! That station wagon reminded me of being in college and driving down to FL from Chicago in the late 1980's. My dad made my GF & I take my grandmother's burgundy station wagon b/c it never got driven not what 2 college girls want to drive! 50 yr old me would now appreciate all the hauling space especially taking that to the beach (live in FL) w all the stuff I take every time

Prior to getting my Mav I'd seen exactly three others out in the wild. Since I took delivery a few weeks ago I haven't seen any at all, which is kinda weird. But anyway, it makes me slightly uncomfortable that I'm driving such an uncommon vehicle around. All the time I see people staring and pointing, and I'm glad there's interest in this truck but it makes me feel pretty weird. I really can't wait for more Mavericks to hit the road so I don't feel like the alien species under the microscope. Am I the only one who doesn't like the attention? I'm happy to talk with anyone who approaches me with questions, but the attention from other drivers is a strange feeling.

I really don’t care either way, but I’m kinda jealous that people are all talking about how much attention they get for their mav. It seems like the only attention i get is cuz of my loud music emanating from my maverick, rather than the maverick itself. What they don’t realize is it’s not some kid riding around playing bass heavy jams, but rather they’re witnessing a mid life crisis of sorts from a mid 40s gentleman rediscovering his late teens love of loud car audio (while also loving his maverick)

At least now I know I’m not the only one!

I can relate with not wanting the attention, but the way I look at it: the hybrids sold out before a single one was delivered, and this is an entry level vehicle. If Ford can get the parts, there's going to be a few Mavericks in every parking lot in a couple years.
