I got my box in the mail long before the truck arrived. I'm going to see if the waste bin is useful. the rest of the stuff will stay in a box in the garage. You can only use 2 of the under seat dividers in a hybrid.

Mine in backseat when I took delivery 3 days ago. Dividers and trash can were useless to me. Double drink holder may be of some use to backseat passengers. End of June oreder.

I didn’t order my truck but got one from dealer stock. Anyone had luck getting the FITS parts in such a situation?

Trashcan is moderately useful. Cupholders probably won't be as there's already cupholders in the fold down armrest and in the doors. Dividers probably will not be of much use. Can't complain about the price (free) but I'd be bummed if I spent $50 on this kit.

The funny part, this was for 9 months of inconvenience. Thanks FORD we pay MSRP and got a useless LEGO kit. How about a monetary REBATE for all the customers that sacrificed and had restless sleep while waiting for your rushed to market vehicle.

NOT TO MENTION RECORD PROFITS FOR FORD AND BONUSES FOR FORD MISMANAGERS.

The trash can is the only thing I was interested in, lol! My hybrid is set for delivery next week. If I don't get a kit, maybe I we could work something out!

Fifty dollars on Ford Accessory Site. To tell you the truth, this FITS system seemed like a good idea when first introduced. After handling the cheap parts and plastic holders, a Walmart bag is all you need for your trash. IMHO, unless some smart individual comes up with something practical that won't break those cheap receptacles off, this idea is worthless.

They do have some clips to hang cloths on. Oh wait, standard on most other vehicles.

How about a holder for real aftermarket Navigation Systems more powerful than a cell phone and easier to read? Even cheap compact SUV's get factory NAVI, s

Even your Information System is in the dark ages. My 2016 RAV4 Limited is years ahead of your system.

The bed will be their claim to fame.

Picked up my Lariat Lux Hybrid on Tuesday 3/22. I asked my salesman about the FITS kit so he went back to the parts dept and found the box that was addressed to the dealer with my VIN referenced on it. I love free stuff. I think the trash can is the bomb! I've also found some cool Mav swag on ETSY.com. I purchased raised letters for the tailgate and a gadget for the cubby next to the productivity screen to attach a mobile phone mount.

Had my hybrid about 3 weeks now. Ordered June 11 and got the Oct email that I would get this kit. My dealer's parts department doesn't have it (at least they say they don't). I called the 800 marketing number, and they didn't have any great ideas what to do. I know this kit isn't a big deal and probably costs Ford about $2, but I was promised it and would like to check it out. Anybody got any ideas how to get this thing? (BTW, love the truck so far. 0 problems and amazing mileage.)

Do you still have a printed copy of the email advising your free FITS gift? If so, I would take it to your dealer's parts dept and see if they have the box with the kit. It's really a matter of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.

I picked up my hybrid on 12/18 but dealer wasn't aware of free FIT accessory kit. The original email I received from Ford on Oct 21st shows ".... As a special thanks for being one of our first Maverick Hybrid owners, we'll be giving you this really cool Ford FITS Accessory Kit after you take delivery of your new truck. ...". I just spoke to the Maverick NVST (New Vehicle Support Team) and learned a few things:

1. Kits will be sent directly to the dealership for distribution with buyer's contact information.
2. Currently behind, so some dealers may not have kits available. I wonder if Ford will give an another gift for this delayed distribution :)
3. Only early hybrid orders will receive the kit (sorry). She "thinks" those that received an official delayed delivery communication will qualify.

The person I spoke gave me a case number and will research exactly when the kit will be available. I'll post updates, once I hear back. In the meantime, we are loving the truck and the hybrid was worth the wait - perfect for city driving!

Build: cactus gray hybrid XL, 360 co-pilot, rear sliding window, tow hitch, cabin inverter, all-weather floor mats.
Jun 17th Ordered through Evergreen Ford
Aug 12th FOMOCO email production for week of Oct 4th
Sep 14th FOMOCO email production change for week of Oct 11th
Oct 21st FOMOCO email "Thanks for being first..", offers free FIT accessories kit
Nov 29th FOMOCO email, built and ETA December 23rd - 29th
Nov 29th Evergreen Ford sends congratulations "Birth of your Maverick" and delivery first week of January 2022

Once again you need to call or go to your dealers parts department and check with the parts manager and give him your Vin# as the fitsbit kit is tied to it
