I contacted ford and got the news: Scheduled to Week (Week - of May-09-2022). There's a VIN to it. So I am guessing I will get in 3-5 months? Is this correct?
I originally confirmed my order on early Aug. Changed from XLT to Lariat in Oct. New confirmed dat e is Oct. cried. Maybe I could have gotten earlier?

Since the phone support/chats seemed to replace the emails as a way to get an update, I called today. No VIN, but agent said she could see "some activity" on my order on March 21. She had no information on what that "activity" was however.

Had not heard of that before ... perhaps a small step toward more transparency?
Had the same.

I would guess if your build date remains static, I have the same date, that you should receive your Mavrick by mid to late June.

Just got a call from my dealer and received a build date of 5/9.
Alto Blue Lariat Lux with moon roof and hard trifold tonneau.
Northern IL
Original Order Date was 6/9/22.
Hennessey’s River View Ford in Oswego

Is there a difference in schedule date and production or build date? I see 5/9 as schedule and build.

No matter how anyone wants to spin this, the Maverick roll out has been an unmitigated failure on Ford's part with seemingly most dealers complicit. All of us can easily understand and forgive the reasons for constraints, delays etc. We all know Ford would prefer to have already built all orders. The failure is in basic customer service. The number of people who "never hear from their dealer". The issues with ROVP/COVP. Tracking not working. Build dates changing. Dealers ignoring customers. Order confirmation emails never going out. Can't say I've ever felt this unappreciated as a customer by any company in my 56 years. Imagine the idea after all the garbage most of us have been through knowing that if we bail at this point the dealer will be "happy to sell our truck and make more money". All it would have taken for me to have an acceptable and positive experience would be for Ford or my dealer to simply keep me posted now and then and act for 30 seconds I mattered as a customer. Oh wait... I did get a generic FORD email about the delay, AFTER 7 MONTHS. So I take it all back.
I feel your pain it has been 10 months since we ordered our truck. My wife and I have been dealing with a family emergency. I will say this we got a phone call from our dealer Thursday that our truck is scheduled for a May 2 build. What I would like to say there our a lot more important things in life but be patient your truck will get built. Just for your info we ordered on June 14 with a simple build all we ordered was an XLT with co-pilot 360 so it will probably be a year before our truck sits in my drive way also I am 73 years old.

Just chatted with Ford. The nice lady told me that I have no vin or scheduling. She said that with the lux and 360 it would get scheduled quicker if I took them off of my Oct 12 Xlt order. But I don’t want a stripped down truck. If I did I would have ordered the xl without the blue and orange interior!
Agreed... wanted what I wanted.. dropping options is not what I signed up for. Glad Ford is rolling in the dough and doesn't appear to need or want our money or business! This is the most frustrating car company I've ever worked with. I'm one and done with Ford after this purchase.

For those of us that reached out to Ford and got a date / vin today, does your tracker show anything other than "Order Confirmed"? I have a VIN and a date from Ford chat, but nothing concrete in the tracker.
Same here, tracker confirms order, but nothing indicates build date week. I have a vin & build date week of 5/9/22 per phone call to Ford CS. No e-mail received as of Sunday yet.

5/9/ means it is scheduled to be built the week of 5/9, not necessarily on that day.

Received scheduled email and VIN from Ford 01/20/2022.
Build week is 03/14/2022.
Received adjustment email 01/26/2022.
Build week now 04/11/2022.
Received adjustment email 02/04/2022.
Build week now 03/28/2022.
Tracking dot shows scheduled for production 03/25/2022.
Was able to download window sticker 03/27/2022.
Appears build week of 3/28 is a go.
