My dealer called me yesterday to say I was getting built week of May 9th. Checked with Ford just now, still in processing, no VIN, no scheduled build date.

Doesn't matter too much because I bought a 2020 Tacoma a few weeks ago that I'll likely keep even when the Maverick comes in, but just a comedy of errors in this process so far.

My dealer didn't have it. Had to call the 1-800 Ford customer service number to get it. It should show up in the dealers system within a few days if you did get a VIN. Ford is being passive aggressive with us by not sending the emails, though I'm sure many of you have vins especially if you are a early order.

Based on these and the couple of others that have called Ford CS and posted, I'm guessing this is a hybrid week. That aligns with what @fordvideoguy thought on his Tuesday podcast based on which of his orders were getting previewed.
I hope it's a hybrid week. If your orders is from LM it's time to swing for the fences because the last eight original allocations were scheduled today and the next opportunity won't be until April 7th.

This whole thread has me confused. Not only are we not getting an email from Ford, now you have to call or chat with a help line to see if your truck's been scheduled. Are the dealerships not getting this information and if so why aren't they contacting customers ? What exactly are the dealerships doing to earn any type of money for taking an order ? It's like we ordered vehicles from some dude building them in his garage out behind his house and not from a multi-billion dollar corporation that should be able to handle notifications of customers on ordered vehicles.... Sorry just feeling a little frustrated today.
Either Ford met it's email quota for the week, got angry with the negative feedback on the generic nature of the email (which explained nothing), messed up the 5/2 and 5/9 scheduling weeks or all the emails will go out at midnight.

Bro you need to chill out. It's not unheard of for Ford to send out emails on different days even for scheduling. We get you're frustrated AF. You've spammed your YT vids all across the forum but seriously.

Just called my dealer, and he gave me the VIN and said I'm scheduled for 5/9!!!!

I went to the order tracking site, and all it says is order confirmed. BUT I HAVE A VIN!!!

I genuinely hope 1) he was serious and not just yanking my chain, 2) that all of y'all get a VIN today/tomorrow. 8-9 months is too long to wait to not even have a schedule date.

I'm a 6/23/21 order date (order confirmed 7/3/21)

Congrats!!! You ordered from Crossroads in Apex? I got mine confirmed last week and I went through the Fuquay Crossroads. Dealer called me about mine also before the email came so you’re good to go!

What are you going to complain about after you get your Maverick:
1. Complain because I don't have anything to complain about
2. Order another one so I can complain again
3. Tell the dealer to hold it for me so I can keep complaining.
4. Drive off into the sunset and just come back once a week and complain anyway.
