I believe dealers can usually see builds on wed so maybe tomorrow is email day. Chat told me just in processing but I had dealer check and got my VIN and build date. I have never gotten an email in the entire process from Ford.

Looks like another no win week for me. CS said just in processing. Salesman had no info.

tomorrow is 9 months exactly. I want to cry. My email was never returned even after I followed up. Ugh.
I've Been rooting for you. I was there on demo day when you were taking pics.

Most likely that is the case. They probably got tired of seeing all the whining and moaning on this board every Thursday. Now it is up to the dealerships to deal with it! They are probably tired of having a bunch of armchair manufacturing and production specialists telling them every week how poorly they are conducting operations without being armed with all the facts. As many others have said many times, manufacturing a car/truck is an extremely complicated logistical process, and now with the inability to have dealer lots fully stocked, the rules of the game have changed completely and it is going to take several years to get the systems figured out.
Great strategy. Instead of fixing the ridiculous mess they created, just communicate less.

Most of the people here are complaining because FORD has not communicated clearly what is going on. Why do we not have all the facts? Because FORD hasn't given them to us.

I don't expect any business to tell me everything about their proprietary systems, but explain enough to me so that I am not hanging in the wind.

For most people, buying a vehicle is a big deal that must be planed, and accounted for. How does the everage family plan to buy a car when you have to guess if its coming this week or next year. Do we fix the clunker and wait, or does it make it till Maverick delivery? I can get $xxx for the trade now, do I sell, or is the Maverick going to be my23? Do I renew the bus pass or not?

The problem is that FORD forgot that customers are actual people, with real problems and situations. Not faceless wallet carrying robots that can turn their lives off until FORD is ready to get their shit together.

I contacted Ford today through Chat. They told me my status was "in order processing". The agent stated this means the plant is preparing the order for production, but it has not been assigned a VIN yet. I see some of the other chats on this thread also have a "in order processing" status, but they also have a VIN now. Any thoughts on if this is progress, or is it just basically at the order confirmation step?

I also called Ford today since no emails have been received (ordered July 21). They told me I have a VIN and scheduled date of May 2nd. I encourage all of you (especially June thru August) to call the 1-800 Ford number as the rep even said something is not working right with the emails.
