🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

Gorgeous! My Ford dealer told me they put 3M 15% window tint on to match the rear windows. May I ask what percentage tint you have that seems to match the rear windows? Also is a ceramic tint that much better?

The tint shop put 15% on the front and adjusted the percentage on the back doors and back window to make them the same. I don't recall what number it was but it looks good.

Not a huge deal, but I guess it's technically my first "mod". Put in my Husky liner weatherbeater mats. I've had these in my last three vehicles and they always get the job done. Shipped pretty quick from realtruck.com. Tomorrow it's getting it's windows tinted and I have a flush mount AVS bug deflector coming in as well.

Very nice indeed! Unfortunately only the fronts for the Hybrid. No rears!

No, it's after-market, but it's the Ford brand. We had it put on at the dealership.

Nope! We bought the Ford brand *textured* hood protector. Had the dealership service guys put it on (and the side window deflectors and the tailgate assist and the splashguards/mudflaps) and the labor cost for ALL of that installed was only $60!

Day TWO with Maverick

Rust Prevention

The spray flows to all the crevices and does not block the drain holes. After the liquid dries, just wipe up the excess and your good to go.

First oil change and added some LEDs to the bed. Not a bad day at all.

My first mod was to remove the back seat head rests! LOL

Since then I've installed the tailgate assist. Next step is to install the dash cam and auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Brought it home then took it to get better tires. Replaced the two piece OEM lugnuts with black one piece OEM style lug nuts.

Day THREE with Maverick

Next project is to find door moldings that don't set so low on the door.

The RAV4 moldings are perfect for the front door, but the back door is 2 inches short.

The search continues. I'll carry my tape measure with me until I find the vehicle with the perfect fit and order them. Carbon grey can use black, but I think I'll paint them to match truck.

Wow that was a deal, I just bought the same items minus the tailgate assist and the dealership wanted $200 to install. Not happening. Do you have a picture of the window deflectors installed?

Besides giving it a bath, got the windows ceramic tinted and installed the AVS bug deflector. Gotta keep the love bugs off the edge of the hood!
