I am getting ready to install my Kicker HS-10 in my Maverick and have a couple questions. I have searched threads and watched YT videos to no avail.
Has anyone used the existing threads or the B%O bracket to install their sub board instead of gluing elevator bolts onto the back wall? It seems...
I needed the towing capacity. We tow over 3k lbs almost weekly. Hybrid would not work for my needs.
So far truck has been pretty good-almost 15k miles now.
I have not used this one but I have had the Truexdo on mine for over a year with -0- issues. It is the same as the Ford OEM one but without the logo. I think I paid around $250 for it.
I did not order the speaker from Plug-N-Play as I didn't know it was an option. Got it off eBay for around $280 and got the harness from them.
Will be a little bit before I can install because of a pending surgery. I am getting the board cut this week then once healed I can get it all done.
I ordered a harness from Plug-N-Play kits that will plug in behind the head unit and give me a direct tap to the front speakers for line level inputs to the HS10. I haven't gotten in yet but once it gets here and we have a cool day I plan to get this upgrade done. I am going to make a video of...
I tow at least weekly. We have a ~3500lb 6x12 shaved ice trailer we take to events around our area. Truck bed has generator to run trailer and 50 amp power cord all the time. No issues. I'd estimate 40-50% of the miles on the truck are towing.
I have scoured old threads and Youtube and only come up with a couple options. How have people been mounting and wiring their HS10?
My front door / dash speakers had been replaced when I got the truck. I have since bought rear speakers, sound deadening material and a Kicker HS10 that I want to...
I just did this on my XLT FX4 and it worked perfectly. It should be noted that in the IPC module I had the same lines (720-03-02, etc) but the format of my numbers in as-built was not the same. I counted the number of digits over, made the change and it worked fine.
I came from a 2016 Colorado. The infotainment and sound system in the Colorado was LIGHT YEARS ahead of the Maverick which is six model years newer.
Love the power, truck is very comfortable and heated seats are great. I tow a 3500lb shaved ice trailer weekly and it does great. Overall it does...
If anything was sitting on the lots where you could buy them I think many would but that isn't the case.
The upcoming refreshed Colorado/Canyon look amazing but who knows when you will be able to actually get one.
Glad I got my Maverick when I did. It does everything I need but I was looking...
Sorry to hear. I am bold enough I'd buy the salvage on that. Take interior out clean and dry and wash / oil the underside if the engine didn't get full of water.
The rails have a part number but no one has gotten a set yet. I bought mine used and they were missing. No luck getting them yet. NZ6Z-9955200 $320.60 retail cost.
Factory remote start on the fob is a no-go once it is built. Aftermarket maybe but that would make its own issues.
