Hate the little factory antenna

Does any know if the small antenna on the roof can be replaced with a shark fin - type antenna?

You can remove the little stick part if you don't need perfect radio reception and it sort of becomes a sharkfin

I first thought of putting a plastic propeller on it like inspector gadget and decided that would be to silly even for me.

I do not think Kydex blocks anything in the useful bands, you could mold a fin out of that to change the profile if that’s what you wanted. That’s how I make my wn holsters and knife sheaths that I don’t make out of leather.

There is another thread and this was discussed. Someone suggested taking the long antenna off and putting a Stubby antenna on. Thy provided a link to the Stubby that fits a Bronco.

Ok that might be a good solution. Thank you. I'm in a metro area so the signal should be fine with a small antenna and 95% of the time i rely on my phone for tunes. **Bonus points** if you can find that link.

Someone believes the screw on antenna has been removed. I'm not so sure.

That truck is being used to teach a dealership. Does that mean it would work without the long screw on antenna?
