First off - I have had my Lariat Lux Hybrid for just over a month and I am thrilled with it!
My first question is regarding the regenerative braking: I have noticed when I am coming to a VERY gradual stop when I get down to about 6-8 mpg that the braking seems to grab and it actually acts like I had slammed on the brakes bringing me to almost a complete stop. Is this a typical thing for the regenerative braking system or should I bring it in to have it looked at?
Second - not just for the hybrid but I have driven about 1800 miles so far. Each of my fill-ups has been almost exactly 2 mpg lower when calculated than the vehicle data is showing. I drive about 85% freeway and I have gotten between 31 and 32 mpg and it reads 33-34mpg. Are others finding this or am I one of the few that checks t see if it is accurate?
Thanks for your input!
