This letter from Ford has no guarantee's attached. You could drop every constraint but even if you did Ford could still not build your unit in 2022 and you may still have to get in line again for a 2023...
Another way to say my "It's not like they are asking customers to remove their desired options, for a long awaited vehicle, and still face the possibility of not even getting that less desirable package" ? Thanks! So you believe it's not a rumor?

I ordered my hybrid XLT with Lux package and CoPilot 360 July 24 last year. I guess I'm just screwed? We really NEED a vehicle. Last I heard, I'm P2, but it's been that way for a while. I've never gotten a confirmation, not scheduled, nothing. I check in every couple of weeks, but...nothing. So frustrating.
We are in the same boat. I placed my order 3 days later than you. I was thinking that I can wait for 6,7 or even 8 months. But I don't expect that I have to wait for a year or more to get my truck. I might be in search of another car now. Ford, fxxk u. If I get my Maverick someday, it would be my first and my last Ford car.

Pretty simple, really. I'm talking about the claim you keep bringing up. The one you want people to give you a gold star for. This claim from January 28:

People disagreed. Heck, even you recognized that it was wrong. That's why you edited and re-edited your incendiary post until it turned into a tepid claim about your dealer possibly running out of allocations.

Now you're trying to gaslight people into believing that you were right all along and that those folks who disagreed with your "No more hybrids! The sky is falling!" post owe you some sort of apology.

But the internet never forgets...
"Internet never forgets." Then why don't you read the rest of my comments I've made since, but especially the and edit the same day on that post on Jan 28th when I figured out it was dealer specific.

I will admit my original headline was misleading and not a full truth until I made an edit at the end of the day, but the premise and reality of what was happening to my order and many like it was real.

The fact of the matter remains, starting back on January 28th, when I first posted about it, certain individuals at certain dealerships WERE getting notified that their 2022 orders were getting rolled over to 2023s.

It wasnt until yesterday that Ford finally said why, partially, for some people. Because lots of people to include myself, did not even have any of the options listed that were causing delays that got rolled over. We still weren't given a real reason.

Was my original headline before my edit that same day misleading and not a full truth. Yes. I apologize for that. I was only going off of what my local Manager and Ford Customer Service. Who else would I believe?

But on 28 Jan, did I lie about getting rolled over to a 2023? No. I didn't. I ordered a Ford Maverick on 10 June, priority 10 at the time of order, confirmed the same day with Ford, and I will not be getting a 2022.

THAT, is true.

There was another member that posted the same problem happen to him about being told his order was getting rolled over to a 2023 on the afternoon of the 27th. Some dealers started getting that message about their allocation stoppage on the 27th. This other individual was told right away and made a post about it, but didn't gain much traction, then I got notified the morning of the 28th.

Although I wasn't even the first to BREAK the news, a different unfortunate member did, my post was just the first to gain the most traction, for better or for worse.

You still seem to be calling bullshit on that post for some reason and to other things I've said, but to me...I NOW...FINALLY feel some validation since a couple official memos have just been released.

I TOLD you guys...4 weeks ago. You didn't need to wait a month later to watch a 1 hour and 47 minute video about it. It's happening. A lot of 2022s are getting rolled over to 2023s.

From that letter, they don’t mention the roll up but only the trifold? I was going to drop the cover but won’t if it’s not listed as a constraint.

Also, as a late hybrid October XLT/Lux I’m just going to wait it out. I keep my cars for 10+ years so I don’t want to compromise on what I’m getting, especially as this is a custom order.

Just got off the phone with my Ford salesman. He said if I want it this year I'd need to delete all kinds of stuff, I told him to keep it on order as is since I'm really in no hurry. Ordered it in October. He did also say they would honor the price if I wait.
Have them put it in a signed document.

Here's a novel idea Ford... remove all optional accessories that can be added after delivery and just build the damn trucks in the *$&%ing order they were placed.

EB Lariat Lux ordered in June? Boom scheduled production date.
XLT Hybrid ordered in November? Not built until supplies are in.

No MBA was required to figure this out. @Ford feel free to reach out on where to send my consultant check.

As long as the upgrade to a 23 is free I'll take it.

2. The customer can continue to wait for their 2022 model year retail order to schedule within the
capacity constrained levels. If the order is unable to be scheduled in the 2022 model year the
customer would need to work with their Ford dealer to convert their retail order to a 2023 model
year order when the retail order bank re-opens this summer.
It will not be free or at the same price as a '22.

I bet we see thousands added to the price of the 2023 model year. Won't be working with the dealer to order a 2023 if I don't get the 2022 I ordered.

Those tips are for unscheduled orders. Don't change if your order already has a build week!! (Actually, you couldn't change even if you wanted to at this point)
That is not true, I do not have a build week, but was able to switch my order from a Hot Pepper XLT AWD 360 to a Gray XL AWD 360 just yesterday, maintaining the 10 priority. I hope that keeping the 360 doesn't penalize me, and that changing the level (XLT to XL) doesnt put me at the end of the line. But the order "was accepted" by Ford according to my salesman.

It will be price locked just like they did with the Broncos. Tim said it last night.

I hope it is. But the way the memo worded gives me concern for those that have to reorder/convert.

(UPDATE) At 1h:10min.... Tim said he does NOT know at this time if rollovers will be price protected.
