What about for some of us that are stuck at priority 2 for months now that can't change their fucking Maverick. I'm tired of this shit being left out every week!!!!
You think Ford cares? They have to many people who will wait forever and do whatever to get a Maverick. Right now their the only game in town. But, competition is coming.

I'm glad I decided not to place an order but rather extensively search what dealers had on their lots in Nov 21. I was willing to drive 500 miles but only had to drive 43.

That redesigned Ranger looks nice. If I'm pushed to a MY23, I may not roll over the Mav order. Get a Lariat Ranger. That is, only if the redesigned Ranger is coming to the states in MY23. Can't stand the current gen Ranger front end. 🤮 This may be a blessing in disguise as I could live with the Mav interior, but i can't say i love it. Lets see what happens!

My view is this is the first vehicle I ordered from scratch. So it sounds like a choice between getting something similar to what I want but not quite or rolling the dice and not getting it at all.

I'm a June ordered too and the only constraint I ever had was the spray in bed liner that I got rid of back in mid December and I've still never been scheduled. If you ordered from a large dealership, I'd say there's a 50/50 chance you get a 2022 Maverick. If it was from a small dealership...less than 10% at this point. Plenty of us have already been told it's not happening no matter what options you have.
OK, so depending on the breakdown of dealers, you're saying that if you haven't been scheduled, there is about a 30% chance you'll get a 2022 build?

I'll give you a favorable rounding. Let's say 35% and make it interesting. If 35.1% or greater of unscheduled, confirmed orders as of 2/22/22 are delivered as 2022 models, you'll pay me $500. If less than that, I'll pay you.

I also wonder how SIBL is a constrant for Ford, but it doesn't seem to be for any of the after market companies.
Probably in part to do with the logistics of ordering it in the quantity for hundreds of trucks per week, maybe contracted with only one or a few suppliers, and shipped in bulk to Mexico. Versus an independent shop which is doing less and can source as needed from a few distributors who in turn have their own suppliers.

It's kind of like why the past two years the large supermarket chains would be cleaned out since they relied on company distribution warehouses while smaller grocers were more flexibly able to get different brands from local suppliers.

So am I correct in assuming that if my order was for a hybrid back in JUNE AND I have both the XLT Luxury package AND Ford Co-Pilot 360 then i don't technically have a combo that is constrained enough to exist in the list of suggested changes to existing, unscheduled orders, OTHER than the fact that it is a hybrid and those are the last out of the gate? Should I convert to a 2023 ANYWAY? Can I at this point?
The email says they are prioritizing by order date as well, so if you ordered in June, I wouldn't change a thing...

If anyone is looking for an Ecoboost XLT AWD, there is an independent new/used car dealer in Hillsborough, New Jersey in central New Jersey ( near New Brunswick and Princeton). I don’t know the price or have any other details. They have four more coming in. Here is the contact information—

So ... if my order is one of the ones they are unable to complete ... has anyone heard any rumors of any other hybrid or EV compact pickups coming in the 2023 model year? Or will the Maverick still be the only option?

pat----
If I get pushed to next year and have to start over with no price protection, I'll be looking at a 2023 hybrid Ridgeline or Tacoma. Ford's lack of communication has really been a disappointment, not so much that I'd give up on my current order, but definitely if I get pushed.

No one knows how many actual orders there are. So, how would you ever know what percentage are built?

I'll drop the SIBL from my XL. That's it, Ford.
See if your dealer will install a DIBL for the factory price. It gets them a sale and generates OEM revenue upon delivery from their service and parts sales.

What's the point of butchering your build if you end up with a truck you don't want? The only thing I'd remove is the SIBL, but how do you take that out of the XLT Lux package?

Why Ford doesn't jut solve the problem by saying they aren't doing SIBL at the factory anymore and they will give us a $300 credit automatically, I just don't know. It would take that one problem right off the table instantly and everyone would be fine with it.
When I orders my XLT with LUX package in January the SIBL was off the package and was automatically replaced with DIBL on the order screen
