Does anyone think these might be listed in order of limitation? I.e. the co pilot is the most limiting feature. If that's the case then the lower your limiting item on the list, the less it is actually limiting.
If you look at the monthly constraint list it gives the percentages of what Ford thinks they can during that time period.

They could have fixed it right there. But no, another slap in the customers face for chosing a small volume dealership.
It makes sense that Ford would support big dealerships. They sell more product, offer better deals, and will create better company loyalty. Ford works on metrics and sales.

Ford painted themselves into a corner by tying so many options to the lux packages.

My biggest "must haves" are heated leather seats and blind spot detection/cross traffic alert. Closest I can get without going aftermarket is the active X heated seats on the Lariat luxury package.

If I could have gotten the seats without the lux package I would have gone that route, but Ford requires me to buy a bunch of features I don't really want in order to get what I do care about.

Its great marketing when supplies aren't short, but right now that's not the case.

Still a horrible business model. And it's why something like the electoral college exist. If it didn't, candidates would only care about the biggest cities in the biggest states and never campaign or care about the rest of the country.

Ford is giving a middle finger to small dealerships and those that support them. This includes a lot of places out in the country...places that have been driving American trucks for decades. Ford doesn't care about those loyal customers anymore I guess.

I am confused, why then for scheduled orders (in production 2/10 but no built email) would my tracker delivery date change from 3/24 to 6/22? when the only option I had on list was SIBL? So to late to remove it? even though it may be built? Trying not to worry..LOL!
They always seem to be one step behind. Production date and built date are the same but built email didn't show up for weeks after production email.

The other thing that makes me angry, that we have to reorder our Maverick if we don't get it the 2022 model. Like why can they not be rolled over? Why do I have to start with the wait in line over and over and over again?
It likely comes down to the money. The 23 will cost more so they have to start from scratch and write off the 22 as lost income due to constraints. They are probably getting a government kickback or insurance write-off for this reason.

Hey there, @Mite-o-Dan. You keep saying "I said this a month ago and no one believed me!"

But what you actually said a month ago was that as of January 28 "All current and NON-SCHEDULED hybrid orders will not be fulfilled for the 2022 model year."

A lot of people didn't believe that and ... guess what? ... it turned out not to be true.

It's kind of like you predicted a total eclipse would happen in January, and now it turns out a partial eclipse will happen in June. You can say "See, I told you there was going to be an eclipse!" but ... close, but no cigar.
What are you talking about? Read the forums. I'm not the only one to get rolled over to 2023. Lots of us have...lots of us with no restraints that ordered in the summer and fall have already been told we aren't getting a 2022.

Why do you not comprehend this?

I'll say it again slowly...

There...are...lots...of...us...that...ordered...a hybrid...in...the...summer...that...were...informed...that...we...will...not...recieve...a...2022...hybrid.

Do...you...understand...now?

The guy who made the second biggest trending post of the day said the same thing. We aren't the only ones either. Far from it. I already posted a photo of my June 10th build sheet in other posts. If you want, I can post of photo of my drive way to show you there isn't a Maverick in there. Will you finally believe me then?

I'm still not giving up hope of having my Oct. 12 Hybrid XLT being built. But reading all of these posts makes it hard to be optimistic for sure. Haven't heard anything from Ford or the dealer except for confirmation email. I have talked to my salesperson a few times and they don't seem to know anymore than I do . Frustrating for sure but not not as bad as it is for those June, July and August orders. I just keep on hoping for a build date soon.
Yes ,my June 10th order is still in limbo. No ifo other than I get a free fit. Hell I'm about to have a FIT now. HA HA

I just put a deposit on an incoming Hybrid Toyota RAV4. It will be here mid-March, already in production. My situation changed a little bit and I need a vehicle by the end of April. That is not going to happen with the Maverick since none of the ones I ordered are scheduled (not that I expected them to be).

All my Maverick orders were made during the last ten days before ordering closed and all three have CP360. I'm not willing to give up CP360 and I ordered at the end, so I expect I will get bumped to the 2023 model year. If that happens I'll simply not reorder two of them and wait for the Granger order to be produced. Granger already said they would honor the $3000 off MSRP for bumped orders. With that plus the Farm Bureau and/or the First Responder rebate plus any rebate Ford offers for the order being bumped that could be a fantastic deal.

if that happens and I can change my order for 2023 I will probably change to a XL hybrid with minimal options. I won't need the AWD anymore since the RAV4 I have coming is AWD (and a hybrid...take note Ford). I'd really just need the Maverick to do small truck things.

I'm kind of hoping I get bumped to 2023. Then I just have to convince my wife that I really need a RAV4 and a Maverick.

"While Ford still plans to produce a limited number of 2022 model year Mavericks for dealer stock..."

That's too bad they're willing to build vehicles for potential sales over vehicles where a sale has already been made. I'm sure dealers are demanding them, since they can ADM vs. selling retail orders at sticker price.

Oh well. After reading this, I seriously doubt I'll ever get see my 2022 order.

It will be a pleasant surprise if I'm wrong, I suppose.
The sentence continues:

"While Ford still plans to produce a limited number of 2022 model year Mavericks for dealer stock
inventory, the priority for remaining production will go to unscheduled Maverick retail orders based on the date they were submitted by the customer’s Ford dealership, vehicle model and configuration selected, part availability, and the number of vehicles the customer’s Ford dealership receives: "

So basically, if you haven’t gotten your Maverick, you can eliminate some of the things that you wanted on your Maverick and it might get built if it was ordered from a high volume dealer or you may just have to do it all over again in August when hopefully they will be taking orders again. Gotta love Ford. Pass the Vaseline please.

I have a VIN so 🙏 hybrid, XLT lux will get built…..having said that does anyone believe that the MY23 order/process will be any better? There are only so many ways Ford can have sex with this and I am sure they are nearing the end, short of delivering trucks on burning ships. If mine is booted I think I can spend my money in other places Ford

I'm waiting on a 11/8/2021 order date Hybrid XLT. I do not have an issue dropping any accessory that can be added-on later but I can't pass on the Lux package and CP360. Lets see what happens

EDIT: I hate that the Lux package changed the SIBL to a drop-in. If they cannot supply the SIBL, do an optional Bedliner delete and just do the SIBL locally. I guess I will be on the Marketplace selling an unwanted drop-in liner.

I agree 100% and and in a very similar position.

Ordered Hybrid XLT 11/6/2021 Lux + CP 360. Not dropping either.

I too would have prefered no bed liner to the DIBL, but the DIBL was part of the LUX.

I also wonder how SIBL is a constrant for Ford, but it doesn't seem to be for any of the after market companies.
