- 2014 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab TRD Off-Road
My order:
Iconic Silver
XLT
Co-Pilot360
Hard Tonneau - Rolling
Sliding Rear Window
Trailer Hitch
Spray-In Liner
The only reason I'm switching from my Tacoma to the hybrid Maverick is over double the fuel efficiency. I don't need the truck that my Tacoma is (4.0 V6 4x4) but I do need a truck for work. I was considering a Rav4 hybrid and just using a small trailer before the Maverick came along. I drive about 25000 miles/year, and I figure the Maverick will save me well over $2000 in gas at current prices.
Went with XLT mainly for cruise control. The locking tailgate with the tonneau should keep things reasonably secure.
I chose silver because, after owning a dark green truck, I would really like my vehicle to look clean for more than a day.
Another side benefit of the Maverick will be the lower height all around. Loading on racks wiIl be easier. Also, I have a 12-13 year old doggo and, while he's in great shape, it makes me a little nervous when he jumps out of my Tacoma onto hard ground.
