Anybody know what unscheduled clean means?Spoke to my salesman today, my unit is listed as "unscheduled clean" .. Its only been 3 months for me, I can't imagine the people still waiting from June/July.. Saw they start 2023 production in October, I'd like to believe we all have our 2022's before then but at this rate who knows.
Well according to the Tim, This week was a FE clean up. And how many XLT/XT were scheduled?, While his Info is good, it is not fully based on the Reality that @Ford Motor Company has a clue on what it is doing, and this is totally based on the level of communication that Ford provides. I get it, I am just one customer, a mere speck in the overall picture of the of Fords bottom line. But I have been an Advocate for this truck, and yes i know "BIG WHOOP", I was a hard-core fan, I have a 3 Inch Binder with all of the documentation and owner's manual, and the order guide from when I ordered, so yea, I am a bit salty about seeing the FIFO process that would have ensured that there would be little to no June/ July orders left in the system. But @Ford Motor Company is holding on to the (with times being what they are) Dealer Allocation system, so yea what reason do i have to believe that MY PRE ORDER will be built before 2025 at the rate they are going?There's literally no possible way that can happen with how many orders that are still in that need to get built. Ford would literally have to TRIPLE production starting now to have a shot at that...and that wont hapoen. People will be getting rolled over to 2023s. I ordered in June and was already told that 2 weeks ago. It was the most pissed I've been in years.
I ordered September 18; I ordered what I wanted and thought, I’ll just wait. And I waited saying, it’s how I want my new truck to be. Then on Tuesday I called my sale guy and told him to drop the bed cover and the splash guards and the tool box. I will not give up Lux tow and co-pilot. Problem is I’m old and I don’t want to wait.I’m getting impatient not because how long it’s taking, but I’m not getting any younger. Old and disappointment is not good.One more week to be discouraged. Yippee

Take a step back and see the whole picture. Nissan went down the CVT road full throttle and are not as reliable. Toyota is solid, conservative if not boring, but expensive. Chevrolet trucks and vans are moderately good. We all got in line on an idea by Ford, that is an overall solid value. How come no other manufacture came up with a smaller truck, hybrid, at an affordable price. We can't be too hard on Ford for having a great idea in the middle of chip supply problems. Ford wants you to have one. This is same company that had the model T, a great success. Hang in there...... if you can.Well, Back to looking at Nissan, Toyota, Chevy. I had been following this truck since 2018, had high hopes, and yes while I am not a June July order, and I am somewhat patient, I have concerns about how much longer the Villager will last, before the next 3+k repair bill comes in. I can find some good prices on some used cars and what not, and may be in about 5-10 years when the world is back to normal as far as the supply chain is concerned, I may look back at the Maverick, but more than likely not, as @Ford Motor Company has kind of left a bad taste in my mouth with how badly they Boned the roll out of the past 3 lines, i had hoped that they had learned something, but guess not.
I'm not so sure it's a bad sign to get bumped to a 2. But I've been a 2 since November. I ordered in July.Thank you for the posting. It is good to hear that there will be some production coming. Hopefully mine will come through, but we will see. I just found out today that my Maverick, which was ordered last October, just got bumped from a priority code 10 to 02!
I am not sure how or why this happened, but I'll take it as a good sign.
Toyota really needs to bring out a hybrid version of the small pickup they had in the 80s (with the larger bed). I had an ‘86 SR5 extended cab 2wd as my very first vehicle with one of the best engines ever built. What the ranger turned to. i will never support that. The mav is more of what the spirit of a ranger was.Have you considered a Ranger ?
Thank you for having a Logical and well thought response, While I will not get a vehicle with a CVT(I do not like the way that they drive) and yes I know that limits me to the used market or a truck / SUV, lowering my expectations and standards will open up the market, quite a lot, and honestly I have really done most of the hard work for a vehicle search back in 2019, with the must have list and the HELLO NO list(first page in my Maverick binder as it is/was being used to document my journey to ownership), all I need to do is drive around and look for dealerships and see what they have and look for one that I want to do business with, which is why Nissan is a last resort option, they all have not customer friendly vibe at any of my local shops.Take a step back and see the whole picture.
