Remember what Tim Bartz said about ordering volume. July was an extremely heavy month and once those go through, the others should go much quicker. Understand, but if you have the money, perhaps hedge and keep this and can always decline the order when delivered.

True. But with the way that the delivery time lines are right now I do not want to have to re license a vehicle that will be gotten rid of a few months after. It is a waste of money and it is a slap in the face to all of the pre order holders, to see September and later orders being built. At least that is my opinion on that.

What do you plan to do after 3-3-22? Keep what you've got now?
Well the 96 Mercury Villager is going away. It will just be replaced with something else. Looking at the other manufactures to see what will fit the bill.

I would love to get scheduled for the 4/18 week and build date of 4/20 would be a nice birthday present. But I'm a patient man.

What I mean is that new vehicles are hard to find. New vehicles like the Maverick don't exist. What are you willing to compromise on in order to buy something you didn't want to start with?

I have a stupid question... I have been here for a while but only vaguely paid attention to these. My order went from "order confirmed" to "in Production" this week. Does that mean my truck is actually in process of being built or its scheduling to be built at some later week?

Thanks for the help.

Well, Back to looking at Nissan, Toyota, Chevy. I had been following this truck since 2018, had high hopes, and yes while I am not a June July order, and I am somewhat patient, I have concerns about how much longer the Villager will last, before the next 3+k repair bill comes in. I can find some good prices on some used cars and what not, and may be in about 5-10 years when the world is back to normal as far as the supply chain is concerned, I may look back at the Maverick, but more than likely not, as @Ford Motor Company has kind of left a bad taste in my mouth with how badly they Boned the roll out of the past 3 lines, i had hoped that they had learned something, but guess not.

Hello everyone, long-time lurker, joined recently after ordering my Maverick on 1/29/22 just before the cutoff! So I ordered my Maverick, and got the confirmation email sent to me. However, when I log into the ford account I created, I don't see my truck listed on the "Reservations and Orders" page. Does anyone else have this experience too?
Your order won't show up until you actually get a VIN#, which you won't get until you get a build date. Since you ordered on the last day you may not get a build date until later, say around May. However, A LOT depends on your dealer allocations and whether you added any items, which are constraint items. Since you ordered an Ecoboost you do have a better chance at getting a build sooner rather than later. No matter, enjoy the wait and check out the MEME thread, it makes passing the waiting time a lot easier! 😁

Well, Back to looking at Nissan, Toyota, Chevy.
👋

Your signature says you just removed the hard roll up cover a week ago. Bed covers have been constrained and those "in the know" like @fordvideoguy have been telling you over and over and over to remove it and get it installed later. No guarantee, but you might already have your truck had you removed that months ago.

Enjoy your Frontier. Or Tacoma with a huge markup. Or whatever it is from Chevy.

Spoke to my salesman today, my unit is listed as "unscheduled clean" .. Its only been 3 months for me, I can't imagine the people still waiting from June/July.. Saw they start 2023 production in October, I'd like to believe we all have our 2022's before then but at this rate who knows.
There's literally no possible way that can happen with how many orders that are still in that need to get built. Ford would literally have to TRIPLE production starting now to have a shot at that...and that wont hapoen. People will be getting rolled over to 2023s. I ordered in June and was already told that 2 weeks ago. It was the most pissed I've been in years.

Which is why 3-3-2022 is the end date. Well, probably won't really enjoy them, and Let me get this out of the way, A Truck was a Compromise based on the fact that there is not a single new vehicle on the market that tickles my interest NOT ONE! this only peaked my interest because it share the same platform as the European FOCUS. that is it. nothing more nothing less. I have a strong loyalty to the Focus Line, NOT Ford. remember that the Villager is a Nissan Quest, And it shows with how well it has held up, Nissan will be a last resort, not a first choice.
Let me know if you have any additional Questions.

EDIT
And I have been Watching the Constraints list, was about to remove the Hard Roll up, when I noticed that HARD ROLL UP had been removed from the list, and the last constraint list, just listed Rollup.... and was like whelp that it is time, and to be honest, @Ford Motor Company screwed the pooch by not allowing people to pull the spray in Bed liner from their LUX build. or contacting people and asking if it can either be delivered with out and a discount applied or a promise to have the dealer do it upon arrival at no cost to the Buyer. there are options, But it just takes a little Give a Scat to use them

No need for all the nail-biting, I just got an exclusive hunch based on no facts at all that it's going to be Granger Ecoboosts with Carbonized Gray as first priority next week. The fewer the chips, the better :) Time to break out the champagne of beers and start shopping accessories guys! If you think Ford is doing anything other than throwing darts at a board that has different builds taped to it, you are thinking too much. No need to let the facts get in the way of a good time!

Thank you for the posting. It is good to hear that there will be some production coming. Hopefully mine will come through, but we will see. I just found out today that my Maverick, which was ordered last October, just got bumped from a priority code 10 to 02!

I am not sure how or why this happened, but I'll take it as a good sign.

Mavrick xlt lux tow package awd co pilot 260, order date 12/13/21 Never received the order confirmation from ford. Dealer showed me their confirmation sheet and it says unscheduled. I have seen that some are not receiving the email for confirmation but my question is, is there a link that I can go to ford and see this myself?
