I fully realize that I am a unique case, My wants and desires are different.
I will be honest, I really wanted to love the maverick, like many on this forum, I have been following this thing since it was rumored to be called the “Courier”.
I know that this Truck, will be the start of the...
To be honest, I was debating if I should, But I feel that I have been a small part of this community, Watching, lurking, commenting and enjoying all of the information watching the banter, enjoying that feeling of community here, and as a member of the community, I feel that it would be a...
So the Maverick Lariat LUX/FX4 was finally delivered.
I took it for a test drive, Experienced the Audio, Handling and power of the Truck.
And due to that I walked away:
The handling was worse than the 1996 Mercury Villager that we traded in earlier this year,
The B&O was disappointing, Better...
there are a handful in the E-WA area, that I know of. guess it all depends on where in the PNW you are.
Congratulations, All I can say is that patience is a requirement in the current car buying world.
I could say that about a maverick that is almost 8 months missing from my driveway, from date of order, and it will be 9 months before it gets built(unless bumped) 10 - 12 months ( chip hold) before delivered.
But i Get what you are saying, True it is not a Truck (Body on Frame) but in the...
There is also the mentality that "IT took over 4 months to get it to me, So I expect it to be perfect", and I am one of those people, It will be well over 7 months by the time that I get the Truck, With poor communication, and a total lack of concern for when you ordered given by ford, I am...
After 6+ months, not too sure I want it.
but I have to make a choice.
A truck or a Luxury SUV...

2022 Lincoln Corsair Reserve - All Wheel Drive Ordered / Confirmed 2/19/2022
Monochromatic Package – Asher Gray / Lincoln Co-Pilot360™ 1.5 Plus / Elements Package / Spare Tire
Will keep the Maverick Order, and will take whatever comes in first (or at least keep the Maverick order...
A part of me yes, but with all of the constraints, and allowing more orders to come in than they can handle, realistically 2024, I think will be the last push out if they open up for new orders later this year.
So that you are saying :
Abandon hope all ye who Order a Maverick
I figure that most who ordered who have not been scheduled will be pushed to 2023 /2024/ 2025.
If the automakers would not have canceled order for their chips at the start of the pandemic they would not be in the spot that they are in now.
This is a self-inflicted wound, I feel no pity for them, They made a bad business choice and deserve all the lumps that we can give them.
