From what I read, it wasn't the Hermosillo plant: yet

Looks like it was the Cuautitlan Assembly Plant in Mexico

Ford Authority listed Cuautitlan plant. Hopefully Hermosillo stays up and running!

Good news. I had an original build date on my July 1st Hybrid Lariat of March 14. Then it was changed two weeks later to April 12th. This week it was moved up to a build date of March 28th. At least they are talking to me about my truck.

Hey guys i have a build date of 2/21 for my XLT Iconic Silver ecoboost with 4k tow package and Co Pilot 360… as of now i have not received an email saying i was delayed. What do you guys think? any chance i stay on schedule?

You might. Ford hasn't completely stopped building trucks yet.

When you get into the track your order page, there's a spot down closer to the dealership info. Along the tracker it still says TBD, but down a bit is a spot that says Vehicle Details, and says your order info and there's a spot that says Estimated Delivery.

Talked to dealer yesterday….

looks like I should have just done my order online due to these input issues…

ordered mid July ‘21 and they don’t have a build date yet. Based on their receiving of 2 hybrids a week at this time they think I should see my truck in late March

Has anyone been told by their dealer that ford is no longer building trucks with Lux package, and the option will be dropped from your order and the price adjusted accordinly?

For context. on 11/13/21 I ordered a Carbonized Gray XLT Eco with Lux, FX4, 4K, Rear window, Hard roll up tonneau cover , and floor liners. I never received an email confirmations, but sometime in December I called ford CS and was confirmed my order was indeed accepted and was given an order number and sales code number. Still not sure why I never received the email, I even confirmed with ford that my correct email is on file

Fast forward to around end of January and after hearing about constraints, I called and asked to have my order adjusted and removed the Tonneau cover and had them switch to cactus gray.

Today I reached out just for an update since I never got the confirmation email, I assumed I wont get the scheduled email either and I may as well check with dealer periodically for timeline updates.

They responded with

"Ford are not building Mavericks with the luxury package any longer. Ford took the luxury package out of the build, and are building the mavericks without them. Price will be adjusted accordingly. Color was switched to Cactus Gray"

Now I know lux is one of the constraints, and if that decision was made, I would assume they would drop them from the most recent orders, so I'm just trying to find out if its possible ford is dropping lux from all orders from 1/27 all the way back to 11/13, or if something fishy is going on here.

You have an Oct 29th order that was BUILT Friday? I have an Oct 28th order that hasn't even been assigned a gosh darn VIN....

Probably a dealer allocation issue. But I also see you have an FX4 and LUX package. That might be the issue!

Telling older orders not to drop as they would get filled first assumes they are filling older orders first which we all know is not the case. Its a random roll of the dice for all. Anyone that ordered 6 months ago should have already gotten their truck.

I ordered my xl with only drop in bed liner last June and Ford or dealer won't tell me anything but that my order is in. no build date. meanwhile people that ordered way after me have their trucks wtf?
