They would just say no
You DON'T talk to the sales folks. As Tom has said over and over, you HAVE to talk to the Fleet/Commercial Manager. They are the ones interested in doing the Drop Shipments. As Tom has said, Sales can't be bothered, they want to sell trucks for a profit.

Call the dealer and ask for their Fleet/Commercial Manager. NOT ALL dealerships have it though. Start with the larger dealerships closest to you. And work your way out. I called one and he said he didn't know if he could. I hung up and called the second one and he said hell yeah he'd do it for $200+ (the + is Tax/Tag/Registraton/Clean/Fuel).

Here is a Commercial Dealer link. Just type your zip code and start calling. https://fordcommercialvehiclecenter.com

my dealer want $750 extra above sticker is that going on everywhere ?
Hello everybody,

I been lurking here since launch decided to sign up and chime in.

I'm in western Washington. My local Ford dealer took my order without any deposit and they charging me MSRP. Which matches what I ordered online and what their paperwork states.

My sales rep said if I don't want the truck I can walk away no questions asked as they will mark it up and sell it on their lot.

Only thing I am paying extra is license/registration, doc fee ($150) and 10% tax.

Got my local Dealer to sell at MRSP Plus Tax Lic & $150
Doc Fee
That’s not terrible. Mine is 4% under invoice though so even with the added pa fee and courtesy fee, I am saving about 3k buying out of state. Your advantage is dealing immediately locally.

Well it’s 4% under invoice not MSRP. Plus in some places, like Florida, with high doc fees some people are saving $1,000+ just on doc fees.

Is that all of their locations or just a certain ones?
Chapman in PA is 4% UNDER Invoice
Granger in IA is 3% UNDER Invoice

Not sure if there are others. Here in Florida it is MSRP+ and crazy doc fees and as much crap the dealer wants to add. I'm saving $5,000 by going to Chapman.

Others have asked, when I say that I'm saving $5,000 by going to Chapman I mean: I had an order placed for the same vehicle in Florida that was $5,000 more than the amount I am paying at Chapman's. I'm not saving $5,000 difference between Invoice and MSRP. Hope that answers others question.

EDIT: Changed location of Granger from ID to IA. Sorry about that. I knew it started with an I.

are you including drop ship and/or travel costs in your $5k calculations?

I can’t speak for that person, but I looked into it myself. To have it shipped from one of the aforementioned dealers would have cost me only $150. I ended up going local just for the sheer ease of logistics and my local dealer agreed to stack X-plan with FordDrivesU.

No.
I am paying $459 for drop ship, tag & registration.

I haven't seen the final amount from Chapman's yet because it was just decided I would pay taxes at Chapman's not at drop ship dealer. I was told since purchase was at Chapman's he didn't have anything to apply taxes to. So I'll await a final number from Chapman's and the deposit amount to drop ship.

My local dealer here in Northern CA wanted 2k over MSRP. Another I corresponded with in the Sacramento area said they were planning on a 5-10k markup (complete insanity). Through this website, I was able to find a few dealers in Northern and Southern California that are doing MSRP.
Have you already ordered and where is northern Ca?
