Although I ordered a hybrid on the last day (11/15), I have hope it might be actually produced since I specifically kept it simple - no lux, 360, SIBL. My ONLY options were sunroof, spare and hitch... Fingers crossed!

This unicorn has real pictures though! I have zero hope it is actually in stock and still available BUT if it is - I am hopping on a plane this week (if weather allows) and driving that bad boy 600+ miles home.
They do exist. My wife ordered her 22 PHEV Escape the same day as my maverick. We've had it a month....and still has over a 1/4 of a tank at 850 miles. I just wish the Maverick had the HUD now.

Funny, I ordered back in mid August thinking I'd surely have my Hybrid XLT/360/Lux before the onset of winter and the first snow so I could lay up my Shelby for the Winter - guess I got that wrong. The Shelby sucks in the snow BTW.... :p
We, with later August orders, will be lucky to see them by Summer. I originally though early this year was likely. Add five more months to that now.

Hope lots of people drop that lux pack. I'm not dropping mine. Glad I did not select the CoPilot 360.

Also I'm an XLT and they had already dropped the SIBL by the time I ordered so I'm getting a drop-in. Wonder if there is anything else in the XLT lux pack that's constrained.
Same here. On the chat my alias is Zachary T. Austin and #fordvideoguy did read one of my comments but either missed, as there are so many comments or something else. Tim did say Ford generally makes it right with some form of protecting out of pocket price increase as rebates etc.

The question Tim missed was if it was true a priority code of 23 would move an order to MY23. He also said that if you are moved to MY23 the priority code goes to 99 and then you get to sit down with the dealer and review everything. He mention things as perhaps there will be a green color etc.

Footnote: My 2 Dakota's 95 reg and 2003 crew cub were green.

Was hoping to drive my new Maverick to Toledo Ohio in September and watch the football game with the Rockets in the Glass Bowl.

Also talked to my dealer about changing my orderType for the x-plan as it could make a tiny bit of difference. Like others the Sales Manager said they do not like changing orders once it's in the ROVP system.

Feel even more lucky to have a hybrid lux with 360. But if the price is right it might be worth it to sell and grab an awd EB off the lot. Could make enough to compensate for the loss of fuel savings and added awd costs

To me, it would be a simple fix if Ford would contact every person with SIBL order and ask them if they would either replace it with a DIBL or remove for a slight price reduction or keep and wait for you order to get built. This would especially be good to do on all XLT orders since going forward SIBL is no longer offered anyway. I'm wouldn't be surprised to see in MY23 that SIBL is also removed from the Lariat LUX package and made a stand alone option all together.
If they offered to remove the SIBL, I would. It was never really wanted, just in the package. What I wanted was the heated seats. They come in handy when you hurt. I don't care how hot it is outside.

I won't be dropping mine. I did get an email from my salesman yesterday about one of our other vehicles. He added this: Looking at your Maverick, your order still reads "priority 2" / "clean & unscheduled."

So here's hoping for soon? Not getting my hopes up. We are going to ask a friend of ours if he will sell us a car he has for me to drive in the meantime then sell it once my truck finally shows up.

Awesome. Yeah I have had them on my radar but not really on the radar.

Makes sense it showed up. Less demand, more profit for Ford. Fits in what Farley said about prioritizing vehicles that will net them cash.

I inquired about dropping the SIBL for my hybrid XL ordered on 10/15. My salesperson advised against it saying I could be moved to the back of the line or to a 2023. Hmm.
I called my dealer about dropping the hard roll up bed cover and they said the same thing. If 2% are only being built with that cover I'm probably stuck until 2023 anyway. What dealer did you purchase from?

If I remember correctly, I believe he said at one point in the stream that those of us who have XL or XLT with CP360 as a standalone option SHOULD be ok. Sounds like that the CP360 issue is more attached to those with the lux package. Although, I'm still considering removing mine from my order. I just don't want the situation to compound as time goes on. My order is also a EB, so I probably have less to worry about. Who knows what to make of this anymore haha.

I ordered a Lariat Lux hybrid at the end of October, after the cutoff was announced. I was hoping I would get mine by July, but now seems like I will be lucky if I get it at all this year. If it rolls over into MY23 but is price protected, I may be willing. I am getting rid of my Rav4 though and want to do it before the prices drop. It's my only vehicle so I can't sell it until my truck is here. I've been calling around locally and will just take one off the lot if it does. I'm not too picky about color, but do want to make sure its a Lariat Lux hybrid.

I love the CoPilot 360 on my Maverick XLT Hybrid and ordered CoPilot 360 specifically because of the safety features it provides. Both BLIS and Cross-Traffic Alert are fantastic features.

The extra insurance discount is also a plus.

One thing that I wish was on the Co-Pilot and maybe it will be added on the MY23 for additional fee, is a Birds Eye View cam. I hoped that at least the Lariat would have it on as an option

Why does everyone appear to think that MY23 will solve everything and the chips will magically appears. An order reset for MY23 only present another year of hope and pray that our Mavericks will get built. I will be listening to the Ford investor call after they announce quarterly earnings. Might learn the full picture.
