After getting a production date changed 6 times. Ford is finally building my Loaded Lariat this week. What could go wrong for a truck built in Mexico during Cinco De Mayo? But I am very happy its finally getting built after a 9 month wait.

They don’t celebrate that day south of the border, it’s just Thursday for them. It’s just another commercialized American holiday for Corona and Frito Lay to make more money.

The following email will be coming today (at 1PM Eastern) to all Maverick customers with unscheduled and COVP verified retail orders.

Mmmmm....got my build email (week of 5/16)....ordered 8/30/21....First Edition, Lariat Lux, hybrid CP360.....everything. Email said nothing about constraints or certain features being left out. Am I in for a surprise on delivery or will I get what I ordered?

It is celebrated in Puebla where my 2004 VW Cabrio was built, that was a great convertible!

Same here, I ordered the truck the way I wanted it, so no I won't drop the LXT Lux package to get a truck I don't want sooner.

Update, I now have a build date of 27 Jun. Found out by stopping by my dealer to check for updates.
