Sounds like it's not a recall issue, but a having nothing to recall issue. Gotta make stuff to recall stuff.

Lovely, if Ford is delaying "built" trucks to the end of May, what does that say about my truck scheduled for March 7th build......
You long term waiters/early order people may need to evaluate your order, I know I am.

I've seen a few posts from folks whose February delivery date has just today been delayed until May -- a three-month delay.

This is for trucks that have already been built, according to the tracker or the dealer's Vehicle History report.

Has anyone heard anything that would explain this?

(Mine went from 2/3/22 to 5/4/22. I'm in Tucson, Arizona -- 70 miles from Nogales where the train crossed the border -- so my truck would get off the train pretty much at the first stop in the USA. It doesn't seem like there should be much of a transportation delay.)

[EDIT] My truck is a hybrid, as it says in my signature. I don't know about the others.
What has the dealership said about the delay? I'm wondering if it's a transportation issue and not a Maverick issue.

Fingers crossed that you see it sooner!

Mine shipped 11/27 and I am still waiting for deliver.

Good luck!
Wow! That would drive me nuts. At that rate, they will be delivering the late my22 builds in Christmas.

Mine is an XLT Hybrid with lux package. The Estimated delivery date just changed from 2/21/22 to 5/21/22. It has been in production since 1/12. DO you have any news about those since you mentioned Lariat only?
Ramp probably made an error

Dealership does not have control over any of this process. It's a factory or shipping issue. More likely than anything it's just a computer error.

Sorry to hear this. It seems like even a build date isn’t safe. We have potential MSRP increases and loan rates going up. Starting to lose some of my excitement for it.

#FordVideoGuy could you also mention if the rumor here is true that you can move orders to a priority code 23 and the order will be transferred head of the line for a MY23. Seems like the Lariat Lux package had a $890 price increase. Not being scheduled with that hybrid build, seems like we will have a chance to see the MY23 updates before some are schedule from late Oct to Nov 15th orders..

I was just thinking that the Dealership might have had more insight to the issue. I do realize that the dealership has no control over transportation, if it they did I would just ask if I could go down to the factory and just pick up my Maverick myself since I'm only 70 miles North of it. :) Of course, Ford has to build my Maverick first!

Yup…especially if trade-in values decrease while Fords’s interest rates go up (that you thought you’d get when ordering 7mo ago), each causing a financial hit to ppl that should have the truck by now.

I don’t understand these delays as I thought once it is scheduled, they’re supposed to have everything to produce it (blend date etc.). So if we not only have scheduled trucks, but IN PRODUCTION dates stamped on our tracker, how could a shortage come into play?
