WOW!!! Now this is something I could upgrade on my Lariat Lux. I will totally do this if you can figure out the fuel gauge and any other bugs that arise.

AWESOME WORK!!!

Is that accurate mileage from your other cluster? I switched my cluster on my Lincoln Mark LT from an F150 Harley Davidson Edition and it brought over the mileage from the donor vehicle.
It is the mileage from the donor vehicle, I'll be 1200 miles under what this cluster has on it. Im gonna look into changing it, but not sure it's possible. I will be updating the post when I get info!

After watching the video, I also am thinking I will lose the Maverick animations that come with the larger center screen on Lariat and FX4. I really like those. Unless they can be reinstituted in Forscan somehow.

I still cannot get over how cool this is!

I really appreciate your info! That is awesome insight. Now, it SEEMS like it has just shrunk my gas gauge to half of it, so, when it gets to an 1/8 I know I have 1/4 tank. It will be annoying if I can't figure it out, BUT I think that this little inconvenience is worth having this awesome Instrument panel. From the Escape forum that the guy did this upgrade from the 4" screen on his Escape, he just pulled his entire IPC as built from stock over to the digital panel and it worked, SO, I'm hoping that that works, not quite sure I have the balls to do it yet. I'm currently trying to make the paddle shifters from my explorer wheel work, and ordering an escape shifter to go with the new panel with the prndM button.

Not familiar with the Escape panel. Would does it display selected gear when M is selected?

Nothing happens since the mavericks come with the L button. I'm hoping once I swap the shifter that the M will light up in the instrument panel and then everything will be connected along with my paddles and I'll be banging gears

I tried to upload a video of the boot animation, it doesn't show any vehicle, just a picture

I agree with a previous reply that applauds the courage some of you folks have to dismantle and/or replace parts with no instructions but a lot of intuition.
Me; it has to be nuts and bolts for me to work on it. No electrical or computer "stuff".

Dave from Clusters by livinitup on the F150 forums does it, he programmed the Lariat cluster i put in my XL F150 (and the the stock one when it was time to sell)

Ordered a 2020 Escape Titanium full digital gauge cluster and plugged it into my maverick, and it worked instantly. No need to do any programming to get it working, however, I'm getting a ton of fault codes from not having a lot of things that the top model Escape has vs my XL Maverick.

I will keep this as updated as I can, but at this moment the biggest issue I've ran into, is the gas gauge is only capable of showing half tank. I had quarter tank when I put the cluster in, and the new cluster was showing an 8th tank. When I filled the truck up, it was showing half tank, and I know it was full.

So, you're not gonna like this, but the Escape uses 2 different fuel level senders, the Maverick only has one. On the Escape, the 2 signal inputs are compounded to get the total fuel level. With only one input, the cluster will only ever see the tank as half full.

Some tweaks with ForScan might switch the cluster over to a single input, but I couldn't say for sure. For reference, the Escape's fuel level signal to the cluster is on pins 1, 2, 9 and 10. The Maverick only uses pins 1, 2 and 10.
Should be able to take the signal from level sensor 1 and jumper it to level sensor 2 input. Won't get the averaging effect of 2 sensors but at least your gauge would be right.

What did the new cluster cost?

Dave told me to kick rocks last week when I emailed him debating doing this. He told me it wouldn't be worth it even if it worked, Guess I might have to figure out how to program them myself and do it.

Interesting. I figured his days of helping others would go to the wayside. He's likely snatching up all the Escape clusters and will have them for sale and programmed for Maverick owners down the road. Of course he'll request a cool $1500 to do so..

Anybody else know who/how to reprogram mileage on these?

Easiest way to fix the odometer reading if it reads less than the Maverick is to hook up power to the cluster then power the speedometer so it thinks it is driving at a high speed like 100mph and leave it that way until the odometer catches up to the listed mileage on the Maverick odometer.
