So, besides the steering wheel/stalk switches and mirrors (assuming an XL) what does the $500 to $600 dollar optional CP360 provide? It seems like it must provide some other modules, more than just as-built configuration since it is one of the production constraints. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...ion-rates-for-march-april-as-of-1-28-22.9293/
This mod only enables the Lane Keep system which includes Lane Keep, Lane Aid and Driver Alert System.

Copilot 360 includes Lane Keep System and BLIS which includes cross traffic alert. To do this you are looking at a $35 for the left turn stalk, about $700 for both mirrors, at least $500 for both sensors that mount in the bumper then another $100 or so for mounting brackets and screws. As far as extra modules you will need the SODR and SODL modules. Short for Side Obstacle Detection Left and Right. Those I don't know if they are built into the sensor or not. They should be, get someone to confirm using forscan that registers 7C4-xx-xx
and 7C6-xx-xx correspond to the SODR and SODL modules. Then you can cross reference the part numbers they show up.

Bottom line. If you want BLIS buy the Copilot 360 package on your build, it is much cheaper than retrofitting it afterwards.

See first post for updated info. Driver Alert system is now working correctly. Only issue left to resolve is the mykey not able to bypass the on / off button when enabled forcing the system into an on only state.

edit update 2
forscan keys updated where applicable for hybrids. Needs testing so if anyone who has an XL or XLT hybrid without Copilot 360 that wants to perform this mod pm me or post back that those settings work correctly.

Any ideas on the ability to add speed limit sign recognition like the Escape has?

Just a note to you folks, in the Lariat with ACC/Lane Centering, you cannot turn on Lane Centering on its own. The ACC must be on with a speed set before you can turn on Lane Centering. ACC can work without Lane Centering, but Lane Centering can only be active when the ACC is on with speed set. I don't know if you can Forscan around that, but that is how it works in the Lariat Lux.

Thanks, so you dont need blis for acc or lane centering? The only thing id want in cp360 is rear cross traffic. I have blis and lane alert on my f250 and its not useful. Cross traffic has saved me a couple of times, as have rear sensors, not sure if you can even get rear parking sensors on a Maverick.
No you shouldn't need BLIS for ACC / Lane Centering. You might be able to make cross traffic work with only installing the sensors but not the mirrors also used for BLIS. I'd say it is not worth half doing or even fully doing since the Copilot 360 package is cheaper to have it installed on the build than to put it in afterwards. But hey it is your truck and ultimately your value judgement not some guy writing about it on the internet.

You have to confirm it has the icons and screens in the cluster first then if the image processing module has the functionality. Then what sensors it uses on the Escape for the functionality. There will be 2 to 3 modules that the settings will need to be modified then. The IPMA and IPC modules for all trims then for XLT and Lariats with an APIM module if they have functionality to display signs on audio screen. There may also be some ACM settings if the non Sync enabled trims can display traffic signs on the audio screen.

If the software does but the image processing module doesn't then putting in an image processing module from a Ford Escape might do the trick assuming the rest of the settings are compatible with a Maverick.

I see this thread is now featured on the front page. I kinda wished this kind of stuff was more in the shadows. Too much publicity could get these kinds of things shut down. I'd hate for Ford to start making changes to prevent people modifying their vehicles.

Ford Maverick Lane Keeping System retrofit install using FORScan (on all trims without Copilot 360) eelg3SF

All this stuff is so cool......I can hardly wait to get my July bought vehicle scheduled for production! Anyway, I continue to be enthusiastic.

I have ordered Lariat trim FX4 Off-road, Co-Pilot 360 & 4K towing packages. It is my understanding that Co-Pilot does not include Adaptive Cruise, Lane Centering & Lane Keep. Will it be easier to mod with the Co-Pilot package than without?

I would assume not as long as ACC doesn't require any specific modules and sensors used in the Copilot360 package.
