Anyone else experiencing their clock randomly changing? Problem started a couple days ago. Only the HOUR place is affected. When I manually fix the time, sometimes it stays fixed for the rest of the ride, other times it immediately changes to another random hour. Anyone?

Does it always change by the same number of hours every time it changes?
i.e. always jumps back 3 hours?
My Mustang w/ Sync 3 would randomly do this and it turns out the timezone was set incorrectly even though it was set to NOT sync time from GPS. Seems it still does randomly check when that setting is off.

Good question. No, I can remember it changing to at least three different random hours away from the correct one. Seems to be random. I'll check on those time zone settings though.

Hi there! Go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer. I’ll look into this clock concern for you. Thanks!

I have had that happen as well. Also my display freezes up at times.

I just got our XL EB today and the clock won't keep time. It was set to central time (we're on eastern) and when I tried to adjust it, it wouldn't take. I reset the system. It then took the new time but now doesn't keep time at all and just displays the same hour/minute until you force reset it again, then it updates but again won't keep time.

WTF.

My little glitch is that it keeps on blanking the clock out. Why? I don't know. Is it a big deal? Not really, but it's strange.

We now call it clock roulette. Every time we start the car, something is off. It never actually keeps time, even if you happen to get lucky and the time was correct at startup.

Yesterday:

First start: 4:38PM - Clock read 4:38PM - after 20 minute drive clock read 4:38PM
Next drive: 8:27PM - Clock read 11:27PM - 15 minutes later still 11:27PM
Next drive: 9:23PM - clock said 12:56AM - 10 minutes later still 12:56AM
Next drive 9:45PM - clock said 12:14AM - 7 minutes later still 12:14AM
Next drive 12:42AM - clock said 2:22AM - 24 minutes later still 2:22AM
Next drive 6:35AM - Clock said 6:35AM - 30 minutes later still 6:35AM

So as you can see, sometimes it is right for 1 minute, sometimes it is close, sometimes it is way off.. no consistency. No amount of hard resetting system or restarting car will change anything. The settings/clock screen will not take. You can set it as many times as you want but it will not save it.

This is really dumb, but it is minor.

Did anyone get follow-up from Ford about this issue? I'm having the same problem with my clock changing times or just showing dashes and no numbers.

Hi All. I'm echoing the previous post -- did anybody ever hear back from Ford? I'm having the same issue with my clock either resetting to a random time or just going blank and displaying: --:--. I've also noticed some inconsistent/quirky behavior to the apps interface. Almost seems like I got a corrupted unit.

If anybody is still experiencing this issue, I just took my Maverick into Ford. The Audio Control Module needed an update. They diagnosed it quickly -- and were aware that this is a relatively common issue -- completed the update and had my truck back to me later the same day. No charge for the service. And the new clock/audio screen interface has a cool, updated look.

Every morning I have the same issue while setting the clock. There is no way to save the clock only to go back and a repeat
