Strange Quirk with Clock

So far, everything has been good with my Maverick except for one little quirk. I got the truck last Wednesday and put it to use. Then on Friday, when I went to do a supply run, the clock had reset. I set the clock to the correct time and wondered if it would reset again between Friday and today.

It did.

So I set the clock to the correct time once again.

Is anyone else dealing with this quirk?

Don't get me wrong, it's not a big deal. It's just strange.

Funny you mentioned this. I have a Lariat, and I noticed several days ago that my time was off (back) one hour. Changed it yesterday didn't even look at it today. And time was changed during Daylight Savings.

We’re you able to fix this clock issue? I just received my 2023 XLT hybrid and my clock has the same problem. It resets to “—:—“ every time I turn my truck on.

I got mine a little over a week ago and it has reset to --:-- twice now. Also didn't want to set to the correct time when I took possession.

I found another thread with this response:

If anybody is still experiencing this issue, I just took my Maverick into Ford. The Audio Control Module needed an update. They diagnosed it quickly -- and were aware that this is a relatively common issue -- completed the update and had my truck back to me later the same day. No charge for the service. And the new clock/audio screen interface has a cool, updated look.

Shouldn't be the same issue the next model year, but who knows.
