Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

I have a Lariat Lux with ACC and I don't see any camera on my mirror or wiring going to it.

Look at your windshield from the front -- the camera is right up against the glass, it's not exactly part of the mirror I guess.

You don't see the big, black module around the mirror?

This design appears that the mirror would be too short to reach the windshield mount.

Yes, I see it. I was just reading on one of the F-150 forums that people are putting the Kia mirrors in. It is $20. Once word gets around about these, they will probably sell out and I can sell it if I can't use it.

Oh I bought one too and I probably won't have my Maverick for months. I really hope it works. Once you get used to auto-dimming mirrors, it is very hard to go back.

If you look at the owners manual there is a fuse labeled auto dimming mirror. So my guess is there is a plug all ready near the mirror in the headliner already.

I don't actually believe it will work with the forward facing camera module.. but I certainly hope I'm wrong.

Just purchased this for under $20 for anyone else interested. This seems to be a pretty generic gentex mirror that comes standard on numerous vehicles. Auto-dimming, homelink, compass.

Yes all features will work when powered.

Since the camera for the Auto Headlights are located in front of the mirror, there has to be power there. Something to check.
