I think we should start two threads on Thursdays; one for the scheduling and the one for the raging comments of those who missed and missed the scheduling honor..
this is mine
Ford used us for marketing/shareholder pleasing purpose
Come on Ford! Where are the mavericks!
This delay is a bad joke! I think even a relatively sane person that understands all these supply chain disruptions has the right to get impatient and fault Ford for the delay. Ford should have stopped accepting reservations way sooner!!!!!
Ford does not want to pay extra $ for components due to inflation adjustment and it is sprinkling the scheduling for a few lucky ones.
I feel we were used as a Marketing asset for Ford to showcase all those reservations and claim "success" but then Ford will need 1+ years to build most of them.
In the meantime, my wife's august order for a VW ID4 has been moving along. It was built and is now crossing the ocean from Germany for a February delivery. There are a lot of batteries, chips, foam, and god knows what in it but still moving along..
By the time Ford delivers my July hybrid, there will be flying cars.
