Our snow forecast is 6-10 inches of snow tomorrow but my truck is still in southern Illinois. I hoping that my truck will arrive in Granger, Iowa next week so I can pick it up A week from this Saturday (I live 280 miles northwest of Granger).

With traction control, gone are the days of fun of popping the hand break on empty snowy roads to drift around corners.

What does the Hybrid have for a heater and defroster?

A heater, but no rear defroster. The rear window is vertical and not likely to get encrusted with snow or ice. If it gets fogged up, put the a/c on with the heat control maxed and it will dehumidify the air.

Not much snow here yet so far this winter, but here's my Maverick (XLT 4K tow). This is along the Assiniboine River west of Winnipeg. Drought year, river is really low.

I started this post with the first snow of the season photo. I thought I would add another to show hopefully the end of winter. Still some ice in the ocean but not much snow on the ground. The photo is taken along the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. 400km trip and I was able to get 7.5 L /100 km (31.4 US MPG). Most of the driving would be below 100km/hr but lots of hills to climb.
