what? In case I wasn't clear, most people find needless car horn honking annoying.

I think the purpose of keyless entry and keyless start is so that you can leave the fob in your pocket and not have to take it out and put it back in to avoid the horn honking.

Has anyone figured this out. In cold climates we all start our vehicles and get out to scrape ice and snow. I wish i didn't have to bother the neighbours with a double horn honk every time I do this.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I did the WiFi update and it went pretty smooth. Download took about 10 min and the install about 5. I stayed in the vehicle to watch the process. As stated elsewhere the update was not recognized right away. I did it yesterday and checked this morning...
