These are the ONLY colors available on the 27 XL.Thanks. They got rid of light blue for the XL? Where do you see this? I think it looks great with the steel wheels which is why I ordered it.
You saved yourself a thousand bucks! Here are the available colors for the 2027 XL, from the Order Guide released this week.Just stopped at a Ford dealer to see Glacier Gray TC in person. It changed my mind. Even though the paint has metallic flakes in it it looks very flat and boring. Especially on the large uninterrupted panels of a Ford Expedition. It looks slightly better to me on a pickup truck, but even then the Avalanche grey trucks next to it looked better.
It was sunny and it really brings out the blue hue. I love blue but this super flat and boring to my eyes.
Agreed. I’ll likely stick to my custom ordered 2026 XL in light blue, especially since it’s no longer available for 2027 in the base model. Have yet to see it in person, but fairly confident I’ll like it.You saved yourself a thousand bucks! Here are the available colors for the 2027 XL, from the Order Guide released this week.

Personally, I think offering a paint color that is a $995 option on a XL has to be some kind of an inside joke at Ford.

Crazy only 2 standard colors left! Everything else is a premium charge.Agreed. I’ll likely stick to my custom ordered 2026 XL in light blue, especially since it’s no longer available for 2027 in the base model. Have yet to see it in person, but fairly confident I’ll like it.

No, Fwd is coming back on 27 Lariats. All MY27 Lariat's will be Hybrids?
Hummm…. I wonder why? Ya think Ford wants to make you need to go to an XLT or Lariat to get what you want? Probably so. Capitalism is the way….Crazy only 2 standard colors left! Everything else is a premium charge.
I bought my 2024 Eco Lariat on 12/31/24Makes my 2024 a real unicorn. LOL
2.0 Eco AWD, Lariat Lux (they all were in 24), FX4, 4K. I chose it over the 2025 that was already out because of the way it was optioned.

This is a very backwards way of looking at it and makes no sense. Dealerships stock colors that are popular and that they know are more likely to sell. They don't want cars sitting on their lots in colors that no one is looking for. Then they end up having to discount them. They aren't just randomly closing their eyes and ordering random colors and options and then just hoping for the best.A little bit misleading. That is also the color mix on most lots. "White is our favorite color." Well, yeah, you only stock white cars! Of course it will be your most popular.
The Light Blue looks nearly identical to an OG Ford color called "Futura Blue" that was available for years on Galaxies, on the Fairmont, and even on mid-eighties Escorts. It's a traditional color for Ford, that looks good on the Maverick, especially with the 17" steelies. Members of our family owned all three of the aforementioned models over the years, all in Futura Blue.Agreed. I’ll likely stick to my custom ordered 2026 XL in light blue, especially since it’s no longer available for 2027 in the base model. Have yet to see it in person, but fairly confident I’ll like it.
