Front windshield issue! anyone else have this?

After five months of ownership, the windshield on my 2026 Ford Maverick Tremor does not appear to be in good condition. There seems to be a residue or haze between the two layers of glass that cannot be properly cleaned. It is especially noticeable in direct sunlight.

Anyone else have this issue? Do I take it to the dealer?

I don't have a picture atm.

That would be the thing to do, sounds like the windshield is delaminating, or at least defective.

It would be very tough to get a picture of the residue or haze between the two glass. ill try my best.

Sounds exactly like the windshield of my wife's car. I printed pictures for the dealer but they couldn't confirm the condition since they open after and close before driving into direct sunlight was possible. After 12 years, it never got worse so it never got fixed. She wasn't lucky enough to get a stone chip in all this time but it only took less than a year for the Mav.
