How many miles on original brake pads?

My 22xl ecoboost has 43k miles and 44 months with the same brake pads. I drive 70% city & 30% highway. The brake pads look low so I went to my mechanic he waved a brake pad gage tool over my pads and told me I was good till November when my inspection is up. What is the average milage on original factory pads.

I got ~60K on my rear pads, probably another 5k left on them. Fronts still going strong at 70K... 90/10 highway/city.

Sorry. I have hybrid so not a fair comparison.

I have 8mm pad thickness at 67,000 miles.

Ford says change at 2mm.

So they CAN be very thin and still be safe.

Our 23 has 46 k on the original pads. Oil change at the dealer did not recommend replacement yet.

24' Tremor has 30k so far have around half pad life left on font and rear around 6 mm.

All depends on how you drive, I drive 40 miles expressway each way to work and back and plenty of other traffic with original pads all the way around and currently have over 156,000 miles (the dealership does my oil changes and checks also) I’m the original owner in October of 2021 ecoboost fx4.

Must have a lot of road trips between! Even with that commute, assuming you work 5 days a week, that would only account for 108k miles (approximately). I don’t want to see your yearly gas bill, that’s for sure.
