Ford Performance Intercooler installed on 2025 Maverick Tremor

Now that I have everyone's attention. The ford performance intercooler does NOT fit , not a bolt on . But it does actually fit and with some modification, trimming and large ties it fits and clears the approach angle lower fascia of the tremor with have to trim or cut it . The radiator and intercooler are tremor specific everything is smaller and or recessed on it to fit back about 1-1.5 inches and the passenger side up hanger is in a different location it's mounted outward. The lower bracket/pinch clips are perfect other then there about and inch to short to push threw the intercooler the upper driver hanger/mount is the same . But you can run a zip tie threw the middle of the lowers amd the intercooler and pull it snug . I used 1/2" wide reinforced ties (2 on each lower) and it's solidly stable the pipes line up and lock on correctly . Onto the shutter u need to remove it mainly just the hinges and blades I squared up the opening and still maintained all the weather stripping and baffles so when the bumper was reinstalled it looked and fit like OE . Sry I didn't take as many pic as I intended to as I went. Especially since I was hoping for a little more plug and play on the hanger/mounting side . Buts it's not horrible to do and can be done . Just take your time

Appreciate the write-up! That is a hell of a lot of work! Curious though—what are you seeing for real-world gains with just the cooler upgrade? Are you running a tune to take advantage of it, or are you still on the stock software/turbo setup?

IM CURRENTLY RUNNING THERMAL CAT BACK , GFB BLOWOFF VALVE AND A DROP IN FLITER ( WAITING FRO SB FILTERS 25+ COLD AIR) I WOULD LOVE TO GET A TUNER TO REALLY OPEN IT UP ( OR THE 300T TURBO AND FLASH TOOL ) AND IF SOMEONE MAKES A 3" DOWNPIPE . ALL THE THE ECOBOOST MOTORS ARE UNDER COOLED AND I PLAN ON KEEPING THIS FOR THE LONG HAUL . SO SOME OF THIS WAS FOR THE ACTULLY COOLING AND GET REDUCE THE HEAT SOAK IN THE TURBO .
