What's the use of that? Rear passenger courtesy?

There are plugs in the front...

God damn the plastics in these trucks...
Built Ford Rough! How embarrassing it must be to be outdone on quality of plastics by dollar store items.

Thanks for the tip. Just to make sure I am clear... these are for rear passenger use? Just asking because it almost looks like it is running up under the seat to something else.

That's a good idea for the back seat port, I'm always worried one of the kids or their friends will accidently kick the cable when getting into or out of the truck and break the port.

I did something similar in the front USB port so I could hide my wireless Android Auto adapter out of sight. I got a very low profile L-shaped USB extension with a flat cable to make it look more seamless.

It's a type c adapter on both ends so you can use it with the USB c plug in either the front or back.

I had my phone plugged in to the one in front and was charging something else with the one in back.

Thanks for posting this, I have already broken one off in the rear port. Luckily I was able to pull the remains out with a needle nose pliers and there was no damage to the port.
