If I'm lowering the lobo with h&r super sport springs, do I need shorter or longer sway bar links? I saw a post saying longer on here but panda motorworks sells shorter ones for lowering.

Shorter springs shorten the distance between the chassis (where the bar is mounted) and the suspension arm (where the end link is mounted), so if you're going to adjust for a lowered vehicle, you want to use a shorter endlink. Longer swaybar links are for lifted vehicles. If I'm lowering the lobo with h&r super sport springs, do I need shorter or longer sway bar links? Digging up a Month old thread. Yeah that thread about longer endlinks confused me also. Usually you go with shorter links when lowering and longer when lifting. If I'm lowering the lobo with h&r super sport springs, do I need shorter or longer sway bar links? Panda motorworks was selling whiteline KLC180-235. I'm going to install them this weekend to see if the noise stops.Digging up a Month old thread. Yeah that thread about longer endlinks confused me also. Usually you go with shorter links when lowering and longer when lifting.
I'm currently looking for shorter endlinks. Which links did you end up going with?
As it turns out. The neutral position was longer. Although I was on ramps in the front only. When I went flat again the neutral position felt like it stayed the same though. I used the superpro TRC12265 https://superpro-suspension.com/us/sway-bar-link-kit-heavy-duty-adjustable-9995-trc12265.html
I don't know if its right, but the noise stopped and it fit the neutral sway bar position.
The sound you're hearing could be spring related, or loose nuts. The sway bar issue sounds clunkier. I also heard a sound almost like metal bending. Also, I said the noise stopped but I am hearing something new. I hear a sound like something came loose. That ones probably my fault though. I probably totalled my truck trying to get it on jack stands.Ok. Good the noise went away. What was the noise? Like a thud in the front? Longer links still confuses me just a little. Sorry for being a dumb dumb ding dong with that. Suspension isn't my strong area. The more I think about it though the slowly I start to kind of understand. So you scraped the Whitelines and went Longer with Superpro
The noise I have is in the steering wheel. When I turn the wheel at low speeds or when at a stop. I get a little click/pop/binding sound. The sound I have maybe completely unrelated to end links because I feel like I heard/felt it before I was lowered. Mechanic friend at a dealer is going to look at it Friday. Will see what he says.
